Info on new shows:-Pushing Daisies: The aforementioned magical detective series, with Lee Pace (Wonderfalls) as a man who can bring back the dead with a single touch.
-Private Practice: You know what, starring you know who.
-Dirty, Sexy Money: Peter Krause stars as a lawyer for the most obnoxiously rich and famous family around. I loooved this pilot!
-Eli Stone: Greg Berlanti (producer of Everwood and Brothers & Sisters) continues his good-TV streak with this drama about a lawyer who learns he could be a prophet.
-Women's Murder Club: A drama about a group of novice crime solvers, based on a book by James Patterson.
-Cashmere Mafia: Lucy Liu stars in this business-world drama from Darren Star.
-Big Shots: A sudsy drama about high-powered men, including Michael Vartan and Dylan McDermott. (Likely for midseason.)
-Carpoolers: A comedy of four guys who commute to work each day.
-Cavemen: You've seen the Geico commercials, right? Well, they're living in Atlanta.
-Sam I Am: Christina Applegate wakes up from amnesia to learn she was an awful person.
-Miss/Guided: Judy Greer returns to her high school to be a guidance counselor.

As for returning series, October Road and Notes from the Underbelly have been renewed. Sadly, What About Brian has gone to the great cancellation pile in the sky (a fact I knew for sure yesterday when I saw Sarah Lancaster promoting her new NBC series, Chuck, and she told me, "It was time to move on"), along with George Lopez, Knights of Prosperity, In Case of Emergency, Six Degrees and According to Jim.

So what happened to LOST on ABC this fall?

My thoughts exactly! I think it's because LOST always has weird start/end dates... I hope they move it back to 9pm though!!

They'll be back midseason.

You have GOT to be kidding. I mean, I know the rumor was going around, but yikes. I give it three weeks.

I guess I'm dense, but I don't know what or who.

I heard on the E! Channel that NBC is thinking about getting rid of Scrubs. If they do, then ABC wants to take the show.

NBC has treated Scrubs like shit until this year. They move it around, they stop and start it without warning. They don't deserve it.

But somehow fans keep finding it :D

This is what I've seen for NBC's fall line up. And I've heard Law & Order: CI is going to run it's new episodes on USA with possible reruns on NBC.

NBC didn't pick up Scrubs OR Law and Order (any of them). ABC is now considering taking Scrubs, but they didn't get put in their lineup, so they may be gone for good.

Private Practice is the Grey's Anatomy spin-off.

It's still there, I don't remember when it's starting, but it is. It's going to be at 8 or 9 p.m.

I'm not going to be happy if The Office goes to 9 o'clock. We have to record on Thursday nights and watch later, and I'll want The Office while the missus will want Gray's Anatomy.

Not sure where you are getting your information, but NBC picked up Scrubs and all three L&O's. Scroll down to returning series.

Scrubs will probably be a midseason show for whoever picks it up, it pretty much always has been.

The NBC website has Scrubs scheduled at 9:30 on Thursday. They say their programming for fall will start September 24th. They list Law & Order as being on Sundays after NFL is done and Law & Order: CI beginning mid-season. They also list a show called Baby Borrowers as beginning midseason along with The IT Crowd and World Moves. And Medium will begin after the NFL season ends. This is from their website so I assume it would be correct.

LOCI is going to have its first run episodes on USA and then they'll have an "encore play" on NBC.

L&O Original and SVU are both renewed on NBC.

Nooooooooo! That was the best show on TV. :(

In other GREAT news -- How I Met Your Mother has been picked back up as well. :D

I just read in my local paper that LOST won't be back until, and I quote "...at least next January." So we will probably have to endure re-runs during the fall season. :(

That is so depressing...

I'm with you. BF and I are both PISSED. Jericho was the only show on TV that both of us liked. Viewer reaction online has been harsh, with people phoning CBS left and right, and even contacting the network's advertisers saying they won't be watching CBS anymore. However, rumor has it that TNT has been monitoring all the fan discussion online and is considering going after the rights for the show...it could do really well on cable since the fans that did watch it are loyal and would likely follow it to another network. If you want TNT to go for it, send them an email through their web site: www.tnt.tv.

I'm so excited about Men in Trees coming back AND the new Women's Murder Club based on the James Patterson books. I LOVE those books! Good Friday night relax time for me! Woohoo!

I'm :mad: at ABC for canceling George Lopez. It was a show that me and the parents would watch together.

:eek: about Jericho. That was one of my friend's favorite shows.

But I am very :D that CBS is moving Without A Trace back to Thursdays!

OMG I was right!!!!!

I told my parents when the season finale aired last week that I thought that they (CBS PTB) were going to move WaT back to Thursdays.

(Although my theory was more based on the fact the CSI's ratings have dropped drastically this season, which I'm sure has a lot to do with the craptastic writing. Oh and the absolutely awful Grissom and Sara relationship (gag me)).

Looks like the shows I follow on CBS are staying in the same slots, which makes it easier on me ;)

The reasoning behind this is so that they could be similar to the show "24" and run all their episodes without any hiatus or interruptions. I hate that we'll have to wait so long for it but I do like the idea of no breaks in between.

It's because they are up against Grey's and a lot of people do watch both shows. But I am happy that the Miniture Killer story line will be finally over tonight! And I hated that Without A Trace was on Sundays because it conflicted with other shows I watched (ok, Bridezillas and Flavor of Love). And since I don't watch Shark, I didn't watch anything after CSI.

Old Christine and Amazing Race won't be back until the spring. :(

I am seriously close to tears that Veronica Mars got cancelled. I will never ever forgive the CW for this and I won't watch them ever again. Good thing ABC Family plays Gilmore Girls episodes instead.

I know that feeling. People are still upset Half and Half got canceled, but All of Us stayed on. Thank God they finally canceled All of Us. Veronica wasn't a bad show, but maybe they should have moved it to CBS when they had a chance. The only show I watch on CW is Everybody Hates Chris.

seriously - this love child that the former WB and UPN created is horrible.

I can't fault the CW at all for cancelling VM.. They renewed the show twice while it was one of the lowest rated shows on network tv. It was given more than enough chances and it just couldn't produce the viewers. Shows get cancelled a lot more quickly these days than that.

The fact that I've had a major hate on for this season doesn't hurt though.

No Gilmore Girls, no Black Donnellys, nothing good on TV anymore....sigh.

Um...can anyone tell me why I just saw a commecial for "Who Wants to be the Next Pussy Cat Doll 2" ??? I know that Nicole is leaving...but is someone else leaving too cos that group is already too big for it's own good! (AHH!) If I can't learn your names, then there are too many of you!

Big sigh of relief that Heroes & Ugly Betty are returning, big grunt that Ugly Betty runs on the nights that we have meeting!

Does anyone know when either will begin running new episodes?!
I'm so distraught that Santos is dead, Alexis and Daniel are in a car accident when Daniel is overdosed and needs to be in a hospital and Amanda is Faye Summers' daughter, Dad is still stuck in Mexico and absolutely none of this is wrapped up!!! I also want that good for nothing Charlie to get caught for pulling that pregnancy card when she knows she's been cheating on Henry!
