excerpt: MIDDLETOWN, N.J. - Children here got more than they bargained for when they tuned in to "Handy Manny" on the Disney Channel this week — hard-core pornography.

Cable giant Comcast is investigating how the porn was broadcast during the popular cartoon, which is about a bilingual handyman, Manny Garcia, and his talking tools.

Customer Paul Dunleavy was stunned Tuesday morning to find his 5-year-old son watching the broadcast.

"It was two people doing their thing; it was full-on and it was disgusting," the father of three told The New York Daily News.

wow, i mean just wow. hardcore porn on cable tv at 9:30 am on a saturday...this should have some pretty big fallout/uproar/lawsuits. i wonder how the porn got on the air in the first place...though i find it hilarious that this is on the disney channel (reminds me of the controversy when i was a kid of 'sex' written in the sky in the lion king...oh disney)

I'm sorry but that's hilarious. Some disgruntled employee was getting fired and decided to get revenge. Thankfully I doubt any little kids are scarred by this.

I personally find this hilarious. Maybe if I had children, I'd feel differently. But since I don't, this cracks my shit up.

From what I heard on the news today, it wasn't isolated. I guess it came up on every market that comcast has in the country. I can fully understand why some parents ( the ones who witnessed it) are pissed to high hell. We do live in a country where many people think what kids learn in sex ed is too much, let alone their kids watching hard-core porn on the Disney channel.

Off topic kinda: Does anybody remember that dinosaur movie Disney had out in around 1999 or 2000? I remember seeing the commercial for it on TV with the Lords of Acid " Crablouse" as the music. The song was about sleeping with a stranger and contracting crabs.

(My kids, ages 3 and 2, watch Handy Manny occasionally. Though they weren't subject to the hardcore porn. I do, however, wonder about the relationship between Manny and Kelly...I bet they'd be hooking up if it were a show for older kids... ;) )

I knew the voice sounded like my best friend's ex! He sounds exactly like Wilmer. Doesn't look too far off from him either.

I find this story funny. Parents need to sometimes stop and laugh at life's quirks. You know what movie my mom let my brother and I watch when we were little?

My brother saw the cover of the video at the video store and begged her to let us rent it. And she did, knowing full well what the movie was about...turns out she loved the movie and thought it was funny we wanted to watch it. Anyway, neither of us were damaged by watching some T&A and hearing jokes that went totally over our head.
