The scene with Kim Bassinger and Mickey Rourke with the ice and food in 9 1/2 weeks and let it go from there!

SHOOT, THE ENTIRE MOVIE! LOL

9 1/2 WEEKS was a movie made before its time! It would probably be more received it were released now as opposed to back then.

This wasn't a love scene per se, but I still remember in Witness (that Amish movie with Harrison Ford and Kelly McGillis), there was a really sexy scene.

She is taking a bath in one of those old fashioned wash basin tubs and the door is kind of ajar....she looks up and sees Harrison Ford watching her in the mirror through the door's opening.
And she just stares back and doesn't cover herself.

You can just FEEL the sexual tension! And while they do end up smooching late in the movie, that's as sexy-sexy as it gets.

This topic got me to thinking about the love scene in "Body Heat" where he's on the patio and she's standing in the office seductively taunting him with looks and she has locked the sliding doors. He can't take it much longer and breaks the glass to get to her. It just sizzles every time I watch it.

If anyone has seen a 1980's movie called Thief of Hearts, there is a very sexy scene in the gun range.

There's a woman who keeps a diary and a cat burglar breaks into her house (intending to rob her blind, I guess). Anyhow, he finds her diary and reads it (then keeps returning to read the latest entries). Anyhow, he reads her innermost secrets and uses them to seduce her. I remember that Haagan-Dazs "Rum Raisin" flavor ice cream was highly significant in this movie!

I thought of another one - Al Pacino and Ellen Barkin in the grocery store in Sea of Love. Al is one of those men who looks his sexiest when he's rundown and disheveled.

Favorite love scenes?

There was 2 scenes I liked in Wild Orchid. The last scene at the end of the movie (the unrated version, that is--in the R rated version it was deleted 'cause it was that hot).

Body Chemistry I. Mark Singer & Lisa Pescia was, well, lets just say Lisa Pescia was coming out on top and was workin' it.
I didn't care much for Body Chemistry II, III, or IV.

MIDWESTDIVA, yes I wrote it in my diary--I am transcribing my written notes to the computer and elaborating on them, and I think I went a little overboard on the detail. Whoo!

In the current (Dec. 2000) issue of MAXIM, there is an article called "Take 69; the 25 hottest movie sex scenes" The #1 scene was from a Bruce Willis movie that I do not remember the name offhand, but I did see and it was HOT! Jason's Lyric did make the top 25. Check out the article while it is still on the newsstands.

i would have to say my pick is the shower scene in How Stella Got her Groove Back with the exception that i would be the one in the shower with taye diggs and not angela "what's her face"

I would HAVE to say that the scene that I would want to do some cutting and pasting is the scene from Love and Basketball..Cut Ms. Lathen...Paste...Franny Granny...After the winter formal or whatever it was...with Maxwell's "Women's work" playing in the back ground.....I have to go now.....

I know this is cheesy, but mine would have to be that love scene between Ryan Phillippe and Reese Witherspoon in "Cruel Intentions." LOL!!!
