If given the opportunity to return to your childhood...

If given the opportunity to return to your childhood, what is the one thing you would change about your life?

Instead of sitting around kicking myself for a lack of contact with my dad, I would have made more of an effort to look for and reach out to him while he was still alive.

KSUViolet06 04-20-2007 02:09 PM

I probably would've been more outgoing, but that's it.

joliebelle 04-20-2007 02:16 PM

I would've pushed to be involved in something like ballet or soccer

AlethiaSi 04-20-2007 03:07 PM

Yeah, i would have been more into sports...
i did ballet and crew, but something else... maybe stayed more active....

AlexMack 04-20-2007 03:10 PM

I'd ask and ask for gymnastics classes. Even now I like to guilt trip my mum by telling her I could have been in the Olympics. I had a lot of natural ability and it all went to waste.

tld221 04-20-2007 03:30 PM

i wouldve not eaten everything in sight so i wouldnt be the fattie i am today.

DSTRen13 04-20-2007 03:32 PM

I wouldn't have quit softball.

That is so funny, because my sister still swears that she could've been in the Olympics if my mom had let her have ice skating lessons!:D

Nothing, I grew up where kids were whipped for Being bad and some should be today!
But Being PC is not one of my strong points!

Scandia 04-20-2007 07:20 PM

It would be in my teenage years. If certain bad things had not happened, I would be a MUCH happier person.

Maybe moving away earlier- but then, I would not have gotten my dog.

aggieAXO 04-20-2007 11:09 PM

I wouldn't have tried to tan so much-not good to do when you have red hair

Sister Havana 04-21-2007 12:07 AM

I'd learn how to play a musical instrument.

Coramoor 04-21-2007 04:23 AM

More sports and be less concerned with image.

DeltAlum 04-21-2007 12:35 PM

Lots of stuff, but mainly I wouldn't have gotten hung up on one or two girls in Junior High School and started dating around a lot earlier.

After getting past that, I had a blast!

cutiepatootie 04-21-2007 12:44 PM

Pushed for a piano lessons be more outgoing then the shy kid i was

EE-BO 04-21-2007 01:59 PM

I would have spent my summer job money on Dell stock.

christiangirl 04-21-2007 03:34 PM

What, my childhood's over?.....;)

I wouldn't have been so shy with my talents. Maybe if I hadn't quit everything just because I didn't think I'd be good at them, then today I'D BE GOOD AT THEM. Piano, gymnastics, ice skating, ballet...all things I had lessons in, but quit and now I wish I could really do them.

PrettyBoy 04-22-2007 12:22 AM

I would have been much more outgoing.

Exactly what I would have posted - I'll be paying for it the rest of my life.

Not yelled at my mom when she made me wear sunscreen every time I went outside! :D My dad's skin is incredibly ruddy and my boyfriend's dad has suspicious growths on his face, so I'm glad my mom slapped that Coppertone on me. :)

RU OX Alum 04-23-2007 12:59 PM
