I love Christmas music. I was in the choir for three years in high school and I have always sang in the choirs at church. To top that, my mom is a music teacher!!

I love The Christmas Song (Chesnutts Roasting on an Open Fire) by Nat King Cole. This song is just awesome! I'll Be Home for Chritmas, I'm Dreaming of a White Christmas and Have Yourself a Merry Little Chritmas by Bing Crosby are also some more favorites!

Of non-traditional songs, I absolutely love George Strait's When it's Christmas Time in Texas. A Christmas song just for us Texans! :) I also like All I Want for Chritmas is You by Mariah Carey.

Do ya'll know of the Very Special Christmas albums? Where fairly current/ popular artists sing the old carols and their own stuff too? I have Vol 3 and Sting sings I Saw 3 Ships, Natalie Merchant, Enya and Hootie & the Blowfish sing on it too. Oh and for my fellow Dave fans out there Christmas Song is on it too. Needless to say I really love the album. Special Olympics is involved with the CDs so it's for a real good cause, good warm holiday fuzzies :)

I like Ring Christmas Bells (I think that's the name of it), Tennessee Christmas- by Amy Grant, and Christmas in Dixie- by Alabama.

for myself, my favorite christmas song is by a group called Munkafust. The song is called My birthday's near christmas (and it sucks). It's comical, and makes me glad for my April birthday. of the traditional songs I can never remember the name of it. It's an instrumental that was played as entrance music for a cotillion I was in my senior year of HS.

Silent Night - every Christmas Eve, my church does services and at the very end the whole congregation lights candles and sings Silent Night. On the last verse, every one raises the candles. It is breathtakingly beautiful. Every year I'm near tears because it is just magical. Whenever I hear this song it makes me smile - reminds me of how lucky I am. :)

I've got this Jewel Christmas CD and I really like it. I love it when she sings Silent night.

Never heard of Munkafast but it sounds pretty cool.

Again my favs are: Gemma Nostra, a Beta Song that has a "Oh Christmas Tree" melody to it.
