Myspace or Face Book?
Which do you prefer?
Have both, prefer Facebook. MySpace takes too long to navigate and load, the pages come out all oddly sized, and it has been known to crash my browser (Safari). I like the neat, clean appearance of Facebook.
I have both as well but I prefer myspace. Since I'm older I will find more of my classmates on myspace. I have a facebook as well, mainly b/c I didn't realize that it had been designed for a younger crowd. I use it with some of my co-workers who are younger.
I'm preferring Facebook more these days because it has less bugs than MySpace; every day there seems to be a new problem with MySpace.
I have found more people on MySpace than on Facebook. However, that's changing, especially since people have been joining work networks (as opposed to just the school networks). |
I have both and I prefer Facebook. I've reconnected with people I haven't spoken to in years, such as high school friends. When I first joined Facebook two years ago, most users were much younger than me, since it was school-based. Now that Facebook has opened up, more and more older people are joining! :)

Also, since I am President of my APO alumni association, it helps keep me connected with the undergraduates and their needs. |
i'm on both but I prefer facebook. I'm hardly on myspace because people put so much stuff on their page it takes forever to load.
I'm on both. I prefer MySpace.
I have found many people from my HS graduating class on Facebook- but none whatsoever on MySpace for some reason. |
I despise myspace. Facebook. And I probably log onto that about once every two weeks.
I have both, but I prefer Facebook. It's got a cleaner appearance (you're not going to click on someone's Facebook page & be blinded by ugly blinking glitter graphics), fewer technical problems (MySpace has big issues with people hacking accounts), and it's easier to navigate.
I like them both equally.

Definitely facebook, except I hate the whole "news feed" deal. I always feel like a stalker whenever I log on.
I have both and i have a sad addiction to both of them but for different reasons. I like facebook because I can stay in contact with my girls soooo much easier and myspace i like because I talk to other friends on there, i like that i can design my page and add music, etc, but there are often a lot of problems with it. I like the look and feel of facebook better, I find myspace more difficult to navigate.
I also have both MySpace and Facebook.
I like Facebook because it's been helping me communicate with the members of my district better (I'm a District Director for GSS) as well as any other member outside my district that needs me. It's also a lot cleaner looking than Myspace. I haven't been on MySpace that long but sadly, a few of my exes have tracked me down  But on the flip side I've been able to re-connect with a lot of my old friends from HS. |
facebook for sure.
I use both. Myspace is more recreational as far as updating background layouts and music is concerned. I like facebook because it goes to my mobile and I can relpy immediately. In addition, it keeps me updated on what my friends are doing everday.
facebook. hands down.
Facebook. I kept telling myself that I wasn't going to do either...and then someone wanted me to look at their pics, so I had to sign up. And then one of my sorority sisters sent me the facebook link. More of my friends are on Facebook, and they're easier to find. People generally stick with their real names on facebook instead of labeling their profile "Fartface" or whatever. Plus, less annoying flashing glittery stuff or random bad music.
I have both....
I prefer Myspace, but i'm starting to like Facebook more and more!! |
I enjoy both sites, but I prefer Facebook because it is easier to navigate.
I don't really care, but Myspace is tailored more towards the didn't-go-to-college crowd. I mean, its fun because you can see what people haven't done with their lives, it makes you feel good about yourself.
I've had facebook since it started, and got myspace within the last year or so. When I first got myspace I thought it was the greatest thing since sliced bread - all the graphics and cool things you could do was great.
But now, after about 3 virus-scares and 10 stalkers later, I think I'm back to loving facebook again. Has anyone noticed the new compass and music "applications" they've put up in the last few days? |
i wouldn't go near myspace. facebook is awesome and better than sites like friendster because it offers so many interactive features, but i feel like they're going a bit overboard these days. i wasn't thrilled when they opened it up to the entire world, but then again, since i went to an international school, it's kinda nice, because i have people i know in africa, thailand, venezuela, israel, england, etc who are now all on facebook. i've found friends from grade school, and i think i have nearly 3/4 of my graduating class as friends now (there were only 50 of us), which is nice because though we don't talk, if we ever wanted to plan a reunion or something, we could. no other site i know (myspace included) has that kind of popularity.

i wouldn't go near myspace. facebook is awesome and better than sites like friendster because it offers so many interactive features, but i feel like they're going a bit overboard these days. the newsfeed was initially very creepy but with the new controls over it i feel like i get what i want to know about without knowing excessive amounts about people. i wasn't thrilled when they opened it up to the entire world, but then again, since i went to an international school, it's kinda nice, because i have people i know in thailand, venezuela, israel, england, etc who are now on facebook. i've found friends from grade school. i've found people i never thought i would see or hear from again in life. i simply don't think that would be possible on myspace.

I like Facebook more, but most of my friends are on MySpace, mainly b/c until recently Facebook was more for students and we all graduated... well, awhile ago... and no longer had university email accounts.

Believe it or not, nowadays I prefer Facebook. Less stigma and more discretion at work. More fun applications. Easier and more streamlined to browse through. I still have MySpace. I do agree that Facebook is aimed towards a different crowd.
I still love Facebook better
Even though it's going downhill with all those annoying applications that clutters everyone's profiles. I also don't like how it opened up to high schoolers and people without a network. My sister says some of her friends (in 7th grade) have facebooks. Facebook is turning into Myspace. Joy. |
I have both. I prefer facebook (minus the new applications - I refuse to add any of those). Most of the people I associate with now, and many old friends from middle and high school, are on facebook, so I use it more. Like someone said earlier, MySpace is good for finding those friends - the ones not doing much with their lives.
In my opinion...
As my username implies, you can obviously tell my preference. Although I have to concur that the applications are quite annoying. Its funny that as much as ppl know I like FB, they are surprised I don't have many applications. Facebook is getting less selective and it's only fun when ppl update thier profiles (add photos, status, etc), it's easier to be nosy :p. Plus I'm a middle school teacher and the kids ask if i'm on Myspace (which most of them are on) no one has asked about FB thank God ( i don't want them all up in my business) LOL
I have both, however I'm more partial to facebook. More of my friends are on there, and it's easier to keep track of things and leave messages. I have a lot of apps, but nothing like the vampire, warewolf, who's your soulmate, how sexy are you apps. Those are just effing annoying. I do like the oregon trail one though :p
I have both, but honestly, Facebook annoys me with all the applications.
I've noticed Myspace started a "news feed" but it's not nearly as detailed as the one FB has. If you change something in Facebook it will be specific like "texas*princess added ------ to her favorite music". The one on Myspace will just say "texas*princess edited her profile". But I'm sure they are trying to make it more like FB's eventually. |
Facebook. The games are fun. Myspace is becoming confusing.
I prefer Facebook. It's easy to advertise campus events, and more people I actually KNOW add me as friends. Myspace is too much like BP, now. It's too many people (young and old) who have nothing to say and are trying desperately hard and failing to look sexy.

I definitely like facebook more but each time they add new applications to fb the profiles becomes miles long. Its becoming too much, I dont even know why people add all that junk to their pages. Nobody is going to read all of it anyway
