At Appalachian it's a place next to campus called Klondike.

At University of Illinois, it's Kam's. At Oklahoma State, it's Eskimo Joe's.

Arkansas State University is in a dry county - no alcohol can be sold in restaurants, and there are no public bars. There are 4 'private clubs' that you are required to pay a membership to join. The one most students joined was The 501.

Sounds like the owners of those private clubs are probably on the county board. |

:) But, in Jonesboro (ASU), the counties above and below us were 'wet'. Both were about 15 minutes away and had liquor stores within 20 feet of the county line. You would walk through the house and tell people that you were "Runnin' to the line." People would either go with you or give you money and a list of what to buy. |

What planet are these people from? I'm not a huge drinker as of late- I probably have a total of 20 drinks a year - but I like to know that when I want a beer, I can go have one, be it in a restaurant, bar, or one I purchased at the gas station down the street. |

At Indiana University most of the bars are on a street called Kirkwood. The main greek bar is Kilroys on Kirkwood, mainly because it's so easy for underagers to get in. It gets really crowded with pink polos and stupid freshman so non-greeks go to places a little more relaxed like Upstairs. A bar called nicks is right accross the street where you can play Sink the Biz. Fun Stuff...

Since there really is not much to do in Las Cruces, most students (Greeks and non Greeks) go to the Strip in Juarez, Mexico. And there is also Hurrican.
We did have a place called the Brew but it closed due to some new law |

Well I'm usually wasted when I go so I don't know how many ID's they ask for. And yes Sports is always packed mainly because of their drink specials. Wednesdays are great $2.50 whatever the hell you want. Kilroy's on Kirkwood has 2 beer pong tables now which is nice for happy hour. Kilroys also has Bladder Busters which is you go with a group of people and beers are like 50 cents until someone in your group uses the restroom...I love Bloomington. |

Yea, my heart belongs to Harry's but when all the girls went out we always went to stacks to make an appearance and then ended up at Harry's hopefully in the fish bowl....my favorite memory at Harry's are all the Friday afternoon's I was suppose to be in class and instead I was at Harry's eating the popcorn :) |
The Kollege Klub (the KK) was the "greekest" bar on campus at UW-Madison, and I believe it still is.

I don't know that there was one particular place where Greeks congregated at Iowa State. It was more differentiated by what you wanted to do.
Get drunk and dance: go to Sips. Get drunk and dance and probably go home with multiple communicable diseases: go to Dean's List. Listen to live music: go to People's. Chill and drink or play pool/darts: go to Paddy's or Mickey's. Pretend you were cosmopolitan: go to MoJazz. Hang with the old-timers: go to Cy's, Lost & Found or Welch Ave. Hang with the townies: go to Whiskey River or Tip Top. Drink underage: go to Thumbs. I preferred People's, Paddy's and Mickey's. |

At Nebraska, the big greek bars are:
Main Street early on in the night (esp on Thursdays) is packed with Greeks or at least used to be The Bar is the place for last call EVERY night because it's the closest bar to the Greek houses (as they say - it's out of the way, but on the way home) Other than those places, there are certain bars that are specific for certain chapters - some sororities are always at The Brass Rail, others at Brother's, the occasional group at The Downtown. Likewise certain fraternities were always at Iguana's, or one of the ones I've already mentioned. But everyone ended up at The Bar... |
