I fully admit it. I'm a big fan of the show. The new cast is an...interesting one. Thank goodness for DVR & TiVo. It's on at the same time as American Idol.

I really don't care about this show, but Apolo Anton Ohno is one of the hottest guys I have ever seen in my life.

I can't wait for that particular "future" to get here. Why won't this woman JUST GO AWAY?!?!

LOL! I've already thought of many of those kinds of jokes but have remained tactfully silent. ;)

Jill1228 02-22-2007 01:28 PM

Ahhh OTW, you never hold back, why start now? ;)

Yup I was thinking of horrible jokes too! :D

Great minds think alike

I'm excited about Apolo, Joey, and Ian (although I think Ian will stink). My fingers are crossed that Heather goes home first week. Everyone I know hates her.

Our wishes just might be answered, but who knows if it's legit...Heather Mills May Two-Step Off Dancing With The Stars In Midst Of Divorce Hearings

BetteDavisEyes 03-04-2007 12:02 AM

We can only hope. She's a leech & needs to go away.

BetteDavisEyes 03-20-2007 12:45 AM

Did anyone else watch tonight?

I'm still watching right now but so far, I adore Cheryl Burke. She's just awesome.
Joey Fatone was pretty entertaining as well.

PeppyGPhiB 03-20-2007 01:03 AM

Steve Sanders, uh, I mean Ian Ziering, was great! The only guy that I really felt actually nailed the cha cha cha.

I agree that Cheryl is just a fabulous dancer. And God, to have a body like the professional ladies on this show! Overall I thought everyone did better tonight than in seasons past.

I wanna look like Cheryl in my next life. ;)

My favorites were definitely Cheryl & Ian with Apolo Ohno & his partner my next favorites.

kansas13 03-20-2007 05:27 PM

I really liked Joey, I thought he was a little bit better then Ian. Out of the girls I think Laila did the best.

On a side note, one of my student's parents were in the audience last night. They are friends of John Ratzenberger and he sent them tickets. Lucky!!

I missed the results show tonight--who was eliminated?

According to the board on TWoP, Leeza was eliminated. That means yet another week that I refuse to watch this show. Grrrr!

BetteDavisEyes 04-10-2007 10:55 PM

I couldn't help but laugh when that dancer who was partnered with Mario Lopez last season (Marina?) was crying in the bathroom. The bitch in me couldn't help but laugh at her obvious misery over having Billy Ray Cyrus as a dance partner.

MSKKG 04-10-2007 11:04 PM

Thanks.

PeppyGPhiB 04-11-2007 12:40 AM

What I like about this show is that usually the person eliminated each week is one that deserves it. The people voting on this show are really watching the performances each week, versus another certain reality show contest that rarely rewards good performers.

Am I the only one that LOVES Jimmy Kimmel's introductions each week to the next week's dances? They're hilarious, I think! Tonight's, for the Rumba next week, included a clip of the Roomba vacuum...it made me laugh out loud!

I agree with you - perhaps it has something to do with the judges' scores play a part in the overall score of each pair?

I, too, CRACK up with Jimmy Kimmel's introductions - I'm starting to crush on his dance partner ;) :D

And AOIIAlum, I don't think your wish is going to come true anytime soon - since the first week, the judges have had nothing but praise for her dancing :o

Oh well, I'll just keep watching here and at TWoP, and eventually she'll have to be gone for good.

MSKKG 04-12-2007 07:34 AM

What is TWoP? I forgot to ask when you originally posted your answer to my question, AOIIalum.

Tippiechick 04-12-2007 08:35 AM

TV Without Pity... It's a website.

MSKKG 04-12-2007 08:57 AM

Thanks--I've never heard of it.

AOIIalum 04-13-2007 07:15 AM

Tippie's right, Television Without Pity = TWoP and it's all that and a bag of chips.

BetteDavisEyes 04-22-2007 04:02 PM

Did anyone else see when Heather Mills lost her balance on her wooden leg and fell to the floor right as her dance was supposed to end?

I'm surprised no one's brought it up by now.

I haven't been watching at all this season because it's been boring, but I just happened to catch it when Heather Mills fell straight on her ass. I swear, I was hoping for something bad to happen -- like her leg flying off or something.

I'll gladly take her eating shit on the dance floor.

I can stop watching now.

CutiePie2000 04-24-2007 12:53 AM

Anton Apollo Ohno is so fine.... :)

Xylochick216 04-24-2007 09:24 AM

Apolo is much better than I had expected since the beginning.

Does anyone else think it's unfair that Heather didn't have to do the swing? Everyone else is busy and found the time to learn it. Hopefully her lack of participation will be reflected in the votes. The swing dance was fun to watch.

xo_kathy 04-24-2007 11:54 AM

You mean the end group dance? She was in it. Though I didn't see all of it - did she pop in for only parts of it?

polarpi 04-24-2007 08:37 PM

I know I saw her dancing (as well as her "solo" part), but she wasn't a part of the group rehearsal learning it together.

So (some of you will know this soon), but who would you "pick" as the encore dance tonight?

PeppyGPhiB 04-24-2007 09:00 PM

I just don't think Heather Mills is good at all. I thought she stunk up the joint last night, and it really frustrates me to hear the judges congratulate her on crappy dancing. I know she has a disability and it must be hard dancing on basically only one leg, but that's no reason to place other, better teams below her.

Ah, well, it was probably actually harder for her to learn it outside of the group setting (speaking as an ex-professional dancer who has had to learn things out of the group and then be put in). So if it wasn't "fair" to anyone, it was really her - a disadvantage to her I mean. That said, she mentioned it was because she had to take her daughter to school or something, so it was her choice.

And finally, I don't like her, can't stand her really, just noting she did dance it. :p

Xylochick216 04-25-2007 08:30 AM

I guess I need to pay better attention. I looked during the swing and didn't see her. I'm VERY glad she's gone. She just seemed pissed off every week that she had to be there.

dzfan 04-25-2007 02:06 PM

Well I am not a big fan of hers but was very very impressed she could dance as well as she did considering her leg condition. I am goign for Ian!!!

PeppyGPhiB 04-25-2007 03:00 PM

What was up with some of her goodbye comments? Criticizing Carrie Ann for giving them a 7? And choosing that moment to advocate for PETA and veganism? She came off sounding really negative to me.

She's GONE? You mean, she's really GONE? Oh sweet happy day, I can watch DWTS again!

hazelle 04-25-2007 05:48 PM

I began watching Heather trying to see her as an inspiration to those with prosthetics...oh well.....perhaps that is what Paul McCartney is seeing and not wanting in his marriage???

MSKKG 05-15-2007 07:28 AM

There is no way Laila deserved 3 10s for her 1st dance. Her 2nd dance was good, but I don't think it was 3 10s good.

I totally agree with you. The cha-cha is supposed to be a sharp and sassy dance, but she danced it very delicately. I'm tired of her whispy arms...what happened to her sharp arms that Len showed her?

ZTABullwinkle 05-15-2007 05:12 PM

I was thinking last night. If the producers really want the public to decide the winner, why not give all three couples in the finale the same score? That way the votes would decide the winner. Won't happen, but it was a thought....
