Oh, my, Lawd. Now I'm going to have to order this one.

btb87 01-04-2007 05:41 PM

Dang it, Soror M! Why you do this to a sistah????
*sigh - with monogram too. . .

Steeltrap 01-04-2007 05:50 PM

^^
Can they monogram w/the zinnia on it? Seems to me that the zinnia is where the monogram should be. I hope that the lime/wild orchid combo will be available on a conventional Colorburst Boat and Tote. If that happens, I'll get one for me and maybe some minis as potential gifts.

lovelyivy84 01-04-2007 05:55 PM

Banana Republic is selling button down collared shirts in the most FABULOUS rose pink color at their outlets. I picked one up last weekend at 30% off and am wearing it today. Nothing but compliments. I will look into finding a pic online.

Steeltrap 01-04-2007 06:06 PM

For baller-status Sorors and those who lucked out into some caysh (as I did for Christmas):

http://usa.hermes.com/webapp/wcs/sto...10702&nbItem=0

This was my second choice. I ended up buying a beautiful one with pink peonies and a touch of green that's no longer widely available.:(

It looks like they can - it'll probably be above the pocket, just under the top edge. I went ahead and selected monogramming and the stitching will be in lime green. It's an additional $5, in various styles.

You'll get one one of these days. :) I was able to get two last year because one was at my secondhand store, and another, a pink and green ribbon one, was a pocket square-size one that only cost $100. I rocked it on my handbags at Boule.

WenD08 01-07-2007 11:02 AM

i went to Saks on Saturday and saw several pink and green Juicy Couture purses and running outfits. the bags were fabric and were around $ 185.00.
all were a little young for me but cute:D
plus, Banana Republic has a nice green sweater for late winter/early spring. i think green is the color for spring. the designers just can't get away from our colors which is great for us:p but so bad for the wallet:eek:

Indeed Pantone (The Color People) picked Tarragon and Silver Peony.

I'm not sure how I feel about the wide white straps. :( This bag comes in small, medium, and large.

Steeltrap 01-11-2007 12:39 PM

^^
I have some grosgrain wedge flip-flops from J. Crew in a different P&G color combo. These look interesting.
As to the tote, I wish the handles were green, but remember, you can get a green monogram.
;)

Very true, my dear Soror! I will be getting at least one pair of the flip flops with the pink bag. I love the summertime, so these items are right up my alley!

lovelyivy84 01-11-2007 05:44 PM

Love em, but flip flops make my calves look waaay too wide, especially when they have a chunky heel.

Hey ladies,

I am on the hunt for some luggage tags and when I googled for some, this site came up as one of the preferred sites. I saw a myriad of pink and green luggage tags that you can personalize. I know I have a DST one for my big suitcase but I need more, so these appear up my alley.

Thanks for the tip, CT4.

I already have one, but here's a P&G small Hermes scarf at a decent price (about $15 below retail):

As it turns out, the L.L. Bean spring catalog was in my mailbox at work and the Wild Orchid is a truer pink than what's shown on the computer. So I think I'm getting a medium sized tote. I have the big one in the 2006 version.

Jewerly

I don't have a fashion find, I am trying to find one actually! I have been looking for where I can get real Alpha Kappa Alpha jewerly.

There is a particular necklace that I want that use to be on the Masters of Design website but they sold their greek line to H. Jones, who doesn't have AKA merchandise, sooooo, I have no idea where to find this necklace.

It is called the AKA Pink Sapphire Lavaliere. If anyone knows where I can find it OR who sells *real* AKA jewerly, help a Soror out!:D Thanks!

BusyBee1908 01-26-2007 02:51 AM

Herff Jones used to carry the same jewelry as Masters of Design, but Herff Jones is no longer our official jeweler. I doubt you'll be able to find the same necklace at www.14kplus.com, but I have a pendant from them that I really like.

33girl 01-26-2007 11:25 AM

Hi ladies:

Hope you don't mind the crash but I saw this the other day when I was looking for a new wallet.

WenD08 01-30-2007 05:41 PM

i try to remember that i have RC '07 in less than 2 mos., tix for our April fundraiser, etc. (that's just AKA, i won't even start on the other org. i'm apart of...) but when i see something cute in pink and green, that goes out the window:eek: now, i did see some cute pink and green PJ bottoms at Old Navy for about 14.50. i think i can afford those;)
i couldn't find the pix on Old Navy's website but i know they're in stores. the bottoms are similar in color to the RL polo shirt posted earlier.

I just purchased the AKA crested band ring. I have to intercept it before hubby does. (the married Sorors know what I'm talking about--I just got the bags out of the trunk of my car from last week's shopping excursion :)

They have an absolutely must-have pair of pink & green silk kitten heel mules for only $29.95! Check them out here...

And they have a whole line of pink & green argyle accessories -- beach bags, tote bags, overnight bags, cosmetic totes, and pink & green luggage tags!

Check it out!
