HC so I tell her that she needs to sign the form? HC that's what I get for assuming? HC he starts leaving? HC I say "You can get your mom to sign it while the 2 of you are here"? HC she says "I'm not HIS parent, but I am A parent"? HC I put my arm around her and led her back to her seat? HC I said "Why don't we come back over here? Here's a nice, comfortable chair for you"? HC her child that was with her (this one was definitely HER child) and another lady started laughing? HC she had to laugh too? HC these students have a blasted schedule right in front of them and STILL won't read it? HC 1 more week, and this too will pass? HC btw, Happy New Year everyone? HC thanks for letting me vent? |

HC Sometimes parents complain, but can't see where they fall short HC one time I was speaking w/ a family member of 1 of my mom's friends HC When I told her that my life motto if "failure is not an option" she was :confused: (dumb-founded) HC She said "what chu mean. . . you gotta fail don't you" HC I told her that in my mind there is no other option but success & that I don't plan for failure HC I told her that if things don't work out . . I always have an equally successful plan "B" . . (moving forward, rarely sideways, and never backward) HC I was raised that way HC all she could say was "Well I let my daughter know dat she ain't all dat and that a lot a time stuff ain't gonna work out in life fa her" HC I just kept my mouth closed . . 'cause I wasn't sure if that was a swipe at me HC at the end of the day . . . a lot of these kids are gonna fall behind in this game of life HC it's disheartning because years later they may be the same ones traped in terrible job, communities, ect. :( HC I just thank God for the all blessing that have come my way:) |
