I've never seen this show, but whenever I see it referenced, I think of that scary movie "The Hills Have Eyes" (which I also did not see). :)

eta: I don't know who Heidi is, but all I can say to OTW is "Oh snap!" :D

BUMP! New season starts tonight..or this afternoon, rather. I just checked my DVR and The Hills 2 premieres during the Afternoon Sneak at 4:30. Should be on right now on the East Coast.

I caught the Afternoon Sneak. That Spencer kid is a huge douchebag. And I thought Lisa Love was a bit unprofessional during her "meeting" with Lauren and Whitney.

I watched the preview this afternoon (which, by the way, it's very weird to me that MTV shows all new episodes then...) but it was good. I can't wait for the weeks to come!

And yes, Spencer is awful. I love in the previews when LC tells Heidi that he's an "awful person" cause he really seems to be. And I think Lisa made a good point, considering what it was. But yeah, it was it tough.

OK I think Audrina was lying to make herself look better. She was definitely a bit of an instigator @ the night club.
That being said that Spencer guy is a douchebag. Seriously... you could tell he was completely playing it up for the cameras. I didn't catch how exactly he was famous or met the girls, but he must have money or connections... because he definitely isn't getting by on his looks!

Please for the love of all things that are good in this world let Heidi not be pregnant.

Yeah, I caught the premiere of "Dancelife" on Sunday afternoon which is weird.
But anyway, I am obsessed with "The Hills". I always hated that 'other show' that this one spun off of. But I do love "The Hills".

I watched last night's episode on mtv.com. I think it's a ton of made up drama, but of course the typical stuff we love to watch!

Regarding Spencer, I'm surprised that no one's made a Beavis and Butthead comment yet.

Heidi made some sense in the last episode. "The best part of Jason was you." I thought that was pretty cool of her to say.

I wish the premiere featured more of Lauren instead of the Heidi/Spencer/Audrina drama.

I miss L.A. and W. Hollywood. :(

Spencer is lame but Heidi seems to have her own issues.

Jason is lame but LC should've known that when she picked him up during Laguna Beach.

I laughed out loud when LC's boss told her she'll forever be known as the girl who "didn't go to Paris" after she mentioned to the other girl that Paris is an option for next summer, too. And then boss asked how the summer home "worked out for her." Her boss was right, though. Too funny.

Yes, I thought that was very cool of her. It's way grown up for Heidi too.


Yeah, that was tough. It's said because LC seems to realize she messed up now. It's crazy the things we girls will do for guys...

I saw photos from the Hills season 2 launch party and there was a picture of Heidi and Spencer hugging. I really don't like that guy so far....I hope they're not still together!

I missed it :( do they now to reruns before a new episode like they always do on Laguna beach?

ALWAYS. mtv.com should have a listing of when they'll be re-airing it this week.

The White Rapper Show is really interesting. And sad. LOL.

I thought Lo went to UCSB....did she transfer to UCLA?

That was lame. What was she thinking?

Well I'm sure the producers were thinking that it makes for good TV.

However, a pregnancy scare is arguably something a woman shouldn't have to deal with on her own. She should've just said she thought she was pregnant, discovered she wasn't, and wants to discuss where to go from here to prevent this from happening in the future (or what he would want to do if she ended up pregnant).

I was watching with my friends and we were all like, What the hell is she doing? What was the point in telling him if she wasn't pregnant? I think she basically just wanted to scare him, which is completely immature. As much as I don't like Spencer, he made a good point when he said that she didn't have to go through it alone, it was her own fault that she hadn't told him before.

Spencer came between them. Although i do think that Spencer is a shady character, I think Audrina is pretty shady as well. She totally knows that Spencer is playing Heidi, but yet does she care? Obviously not. i actually feel sorry for Heidi cause it seems like she truly doesn't know the true nature of Spencer's and Audrina's relationship.

P.S. Brody Jenner is an attention whore

I just saw where Spencer called Audrina and she more or less told him she wouldn't hang out with him and hung up on him. I'm sure the producers have cut out some key stuff to keep the drama up.

I knowe I'm going to regret saying this later on, but for some reason Heidi's impressing me each week...because if I were her, I would've literally picked up Audrina and thrown her out the window. I can't believe (well, I guess I can) Audrina crashed her party. Instead, Heidi gave a polite "Thank you for wishing me a Happy Birthday, I really appreciate it." Even if it was fake, that must have been very hard to do.

Brody's so hot. But so not for our girl Lauren. I can't imagine being in the privacy of my own home, trying to get the first kiss in -- knowing that the cameras and sound guys are only 10 feet away.

Even though Audrina's shady in herself, in the end I'd trust her judgement and not Spencer's I think -- and that's pretty obvious from next week's previews.

I have to admit, sometimes it's hard to watch The Hills. I start missing W. Hollywood. And Amy. And Alex.

I know what you mean. Last season I thought Heidi was super lame and really immature. This season she seems to have grown up....I actually like her now.

I think I missed something...When did Audrina and Heidi stop being friends? Was it when Spencer came into the picture or was it before then?

I think Spencer is a creep and a liar.

I wish they'd show Whitney more, I really like her.

I get the impression it all happened before they started filming season 2, but it did seem to be resulting from Audrina hanging out with Spencer when she knew Heidi and Spencer were hanging out. I think there's a back story that they never really clarified though.

Spencer is playing both of them, and I do not see how either Audrina or Heidi is to blame. If anything, Heidi not talking to Audrina is exacerbating the situation because they are not telling each other what Spencer has been saying. They both should figure it out and walk away.

Based on what we have been shown, Heidi seems to be have grown up but she is far from mature. The whole false pregnancy thing was just bad.

Spencer is such an idiot. How dare he approach Heidi's co-worker. :rolleyes: What exactly was his problem?

And I didn't know being called a TOOL was the ultimate insult in LA?

Heidi needs to let it go--if everyone's warning you. She says she needs to make the decision herself. What's she waiting for--I guess I gotta watch the rest of this episode. :p

I couldn't stay awake last nite to watch & Now I can't wait till the repeat at 6 so I'm watching online. I'm laughing at myself as I write this LOL

I just read an interview with Heidi on the USweekly website and they refer to Spencer as her boyfriend and manager....evidently Heidi has an album in progress. LOL.

Spencer started sh*t with Heidi's co-worker was so ridiculous last night. I couldn't believe how Heidi just stood there and BARELY tried to stop him, I would've shoved my boyfriend in the car. And I know it's California and she has a cool job and all, but I thought her top was pretty inappropriate for work. Spencer was just a major douchebag during that entire scene.

BTW, at the end of the episode, did Heidi leave the club and take a bottle of wine to the face? She was wasted when Lauren was bitching Spencer out on the phone, it was hilarious, I feel like MTV rarely shows them drunk.

Brody Jenner = just plain sad.

Heidi = better than last season, but still needs to grow more brains

Lauren = I liked her in season one, up until she ditched the job opportunity for Jason...now I just have this underlying disdain for her

Audrina - is it just me, or does her big face look like a balloon? It's not fat, it's just...big and round, like it should be on a string.

The only person I really like right now is Whitney...but I'm still watching. :D

Yeah I remember her being pretty last season and now she's looking a little beat every time they show her. I don't know what happened! haha

Heidi is doing an 8page spread in March's Stuff magazine....as seen in USWeekly before it hits the newsstands!
