are these really famous Chi O's
 

I had heard that Lauren Hutton, Cybil Shepard, Heather Locklear, and Shelly Long were Chi-o's, but I have never seen proof - it is not on their site or anything and I am soooo curious - are they - and where did they go to school and why doesn't nationals post them on their site??? When our national consultant came to visit she told us Shelly Long was a Kappa, and Heather Locklear was not a Chi O. Lauren Hutton I think is. Thats as much as I know. http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/smile.gif

When I worked for XO HQ, we talked about this and all they really said was that they have no proof that they were members. i.e. they probably looked in their roll of initiates and couldn't find their names.

Out of curiosity...

Since many famous people sometimes use a stage name (and probably change it to that), wouldn't the roll of initiates include their real names?

OTW, you are right, which is prob why our HQ was non-committal. I don't know why they don't want to follow up on it...I'm sure they could find out their real names. But, maybe they partly don't want to claim Heather because of her Playboy spread...?

I heard that Faith Ford was ADPi. Also heard a rumor that Heather Locklear and Brooke Shields were Alpha Phi - is there a chapter at UCLA and Princeton respectively? But the others (Shelley Long and Lauren Hutton) I have heard are Chi-o's.

I don't know who Faith Ford is, but according to our Membership Manual, a Ruth Ford (Tau) is an Actress and a Chi Omega. LOL http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/biggrin.gif

Joanne Woodward (Paul Newman's wife) was XO (Phi Gamma).

I heard from some of our new initiates that Lucy Liu from Charlies Angels was a Chi O. They said it was in the manual. Has anyone else heard this?

The old Gwen from Passions is a Chi Omega from UNC-Chapel Hill. She is also Susan Lucci's daughter.

Does anyone know if Blanche Lambert Lincoln (the senator from Arkansas) and Sandra Day O'Connor are Chi O's? I've heard rumors, but I think that Blanche Lambert Lincoln went to Wellesley which doesn't have a greek system.

The reason that I asked is because Blanche Lambert Lincoln graduated from Randolph-Macon women's college.

I know that Blanche Lambert is because she was listed amoung the famous Chi Omegas in the Handbook. I don't know who Sandra Day O'Conner is unless she's that old actress.
