RAINIER, Wash. -- A former teacher’s assistant accused of having sex with a 15-year-old boy was indicted earlier this week, according to a Longview, Wash. newspaper.

The Daily News reported that 35-year-old Christine Marie Johanson, who worked at Hudson Park Elementary School, allegedly had a sexual relationship with a freshman at Rainier Junior/Senior High School. Further, the indictment also alleges that Johanson forced the boy to have sex with her.


She pleaded innocent Monday to 10 counts of third-degree rape, two counts of third-degree sodomy, 12 counts of second-degree sexual abuse and two counts of furnishing liquor to a minor, according to The Daily News.

In some states oral sex counts as Sodomy. (Anything besides penis+vagina)

I thought all the sodomy laws were overturned after the Texas decision though.

All consentual sodomy laws were overturned, I believe. This is still sodomy since the child cannot consent.

Makes sense. I didn't know that there was even the distinction w/ regards to the sodomy laws. Thought it all fell under statuatory rape or child abuse.

What the hell is up with these hot teachers goin at it with students. Where in the hell were these people when I was 16.

I was listening to some legal experts discuss why there is such a double standard in female teacher/male student vs. male teacher/female student cases.

The main reason that many of the female teacher cases are pleaded out instead of going to juries is twofold.

#1 - Female jury members will usually tend to sympathize with the female teacher if the argument is put forth "I couldn't help myself. I fell in love." Women tend to look at sexual relationships as love instead of lust. (Many, not all.)

#2 - Male jurors will tend to think "Oh, yeah, that 16 year old kid was hittin' that. Wish it could have happened to me." (Note some of the comments of my fellow fraternal members on this site.) The guys think of how lucky the kid was and won't find the teacher guilty.

I have a 15 year old step-son. If any teacher pulls that shit with my son, I will demand blood. Sorry but regardless of how hot they may be, male or female, adults should not be sleeping with minors. Sorry.

If it was a male teacher, it would be sick. Given how she looks in her mug shot, which are not usually flattering, she must be smokin'. If I were 15 and it were me, I would be kicking myself now for not keeping my mouth shut about it.

I just don't get it. She's hot, so why does she have to get a 15 year old drunk to sleep with her? Umm can't she get one a little older? I mean it's great for the 15 yr old and all, but what about her? Who wants to sleep with a 15 yr old? :p

The ones who get caught arent. I'm aware of a few young male teachers who have paid some extra attention to attractive female students. Although, generally the female student was the one initiating the extra-curricular activity...There is a difference between the old pervert math teachers and the 25 year old guy who the 17 and 18 year old girls flock to. Those guys rarely seem to get caught.

Perhaps because 17-18 year old girls don't brag about it to all their friends?

Three posts are my total feelings: one-if a teacher ever does it with my 15 yr. daughter..castration will be the least of his worries--just go ahead and make a TV movie about my rage; two-why does a girl that hot and young have to pick up such young bait...and get him drunk as well...has she forgotten about 21+s at bars?? and THREE: with a huge smile on my face, why weren't there any good hot teachers when I went to school? We always had the older, blind, stinky ancient guys who barely could walk ...especially the subs! Had to add a bit of humor after all my rage!

TheGrip, well and probably because they are the ones convincing the teacher, he's not preying on them. Or so I would suspect.

The part that really cracks me up is that all the dudes are hideous. Like that little Asian looking guy. He looked like ET if ET had his face shoved into a meat grinder.

There's another allegation of a female teacher and one of her students in a local high school. Her picture was on TV last night.

You guessed it, she looked pretty hot.

A HUGE court case just wrapped up in Vancouver about a male teacher who had sexual relations with many female students in the 1970s & 1980s. I think he was found guilty on some counts but not all. It took place with female students from Prince of Wales Secondary School, in their "Quest" program, which was kind of like "Outward Bound" for kids. He would described by some to have been "movie star handsome" (although he's hella-old now, so it is hard to tell if he was or was not).

If you google "Tom Ellison" and "Quest", you should get some hits.
