So I'm not sure who all here has HBO or even watches this show...
BUT
If you had to compare yourself to one of the show's characters, who would you most resemble.
Myself...well I'm a total Charlotte. I'm more naive than the rest, hopelessly looking for my knight in shining armor to sweep me off my feet. I often fall victim to the 'WRONG' man and don't realize it until the end.
Yep, that pretty much sums me up.
Plus she's just perky, always happy and more conservative...pretty much me also.

I have never seen one entire show all the way through, although i really should. It does catch my attention, but i dont know who is who- the bits and pieces i have seen are funny. Who is Charlotte? Sarah Jessica Parker?

If you go to the link I posted above it shows you who all the characters are. Charlotte is the cute brunette. Carrie is Sarah Jessica's character...he he he. Yeah, Amy L. I could see you as a Carrie.

i went to the link and saw all the characters, thanks! I also took the quiz and came up as being about 96% Charlotte. When do the new shows air, or even the reruns? We have HBO, come to think of it- we have like 5 HBO channels, so i guess i would need to know which one also.

SATC airs in reruns on HBO wednesday nights around 10ish..check local listings..

Last night's rerun was the best. It was the one where Charlotte got married and Carrie confessed that she was cheating. I loved how Carrie comes running into the church late and then they get ready to go down the isle and Charlotte stops because she had to confess that what's his name...well anyway, if you saw it you know what happened. I just love that show.

The season begins June 3rd, I can't wait!

I took that quiz...I was 100% Charlotte! What's up with that?! Charlotte's not so bad, so I guess it's all good. I didn't think I was THAT much like her...thought I'd have a LITTLE Carrie in me.

I dunno about you AlphaChiGirl, but I while I was taking my quiz I was hoping to turn out almost exactly like my favorite character. Sometimes I think those quizes are a little weak, as it's easy to stereotype the characters' answers. Oh well.

Has anybody been watching this season's Sex and the City. I have been trying to keep up to date as possible but I've missed a few episodes lately. The last one I saw was probably one of my favorites. It was the one where Miranda's Mother died. I cried at the end because it was just so touching...the friendship between all the girls.

Okay so now im totally addicted to the show! I watched the first two episodes of season 1 and all of season 2. I watched some of the one where Miranda's mother died in season 3 but thats about it. When did Charlotte get married?? Season 2????

Yes...that was also when Carrie told Aidin she kinda cheated on him.

This is the greatest show. I am addicted. I took a quiz and it said i am mainly Charlotte. I think I am a mix of all the characters- yes even Samantha. I am not as naive as Charlotte, but i too want a prince charming and nice things.

So Charlotte gets married in season 2??? Hmm, im all confused now. What I did was rent the videos from Hollywood video, and i watched all the shows and never saw Charlotte get married. Maybe they dont have all the tapes, but i thought there were only 17 shows in season two????

I see reruns all the time. Wed(?), Fri. and Sat. Sat's seem to be the first 2 seasons.

I don't have cable so I hardly get to watch it anymore, but did anyone see the Sex in the City episode the other night? The butt-licking one?!!?!!:eek: HOW GROSS! Such a funny one though!

I took the quiz and came out 50 percent Charlotte, 50 percent Miranda, which is SOOOOO true, even though I can't stand Charlotte's husband. I hope she wises up and leaves him. She deserves better.

I'm surprised out of ALL those women, Charolette was the one to have tried it. I mean COME ON! She hadn't even seen a vagina in episode 2 (or was that 3)!

OH MY GOSH! Is anyone following SEX right now? WHY ON EARTH did Carrie decline Aidin's offer to get married NOW? And then they break it off and she has to buy her apartment from him? AND HER BEAUTIFUL RING (Similar to mine w/o baguettes and not as big)!!!! :eek: :confused:

Ok I see there are no Dr. Phil McGraw fans here (He is the therapist on Oprah). Anyways, about once per month thay have couples on there that have been dating anywhere from 1 to 5, 6, 7 years. Most of the time the couples are on the show b/c the woman cannot understand why the man don't want to get married, the men always answer-they like things the way they are, they don't want change, they are not ready etc...

Soooo Dr. Mcgraw always tells the women that if they are ready to get married and their significant other is not then you have 2 choices-stay or go. Some of these women end up leaving.

I can see Aidan's point of view. He is probably in early 40's and is ready for marriage while Carrie is not. Will she ever be ready-who knows? -that is part of the problem, Aidan is probably tired of waiting and is ready to get on with his life-he ain't getting any younger.

Aggie and Amy I see your points. It just seemed she messed things up royally the first time that since she finally got him back she'd be happy. Oh well! :Sigh:

Amy - Texas is great. I'm lovin' the weather. Still trying to find a job though. I go to the gym every night and Will and I work out together.
Karen- he's got me on my diet now. Goal is to get to 18 % body fat (Will has a little less that 9%) and to lose 22 pounds in 11 to 13 weeks.... we'll see how it goes!

Wow 18%, I think he said I was at 27% now, though on my first measurments it was 34%-we are not sure if this is accurate. I have lost 3 pounds-yeah go me!!!! Only 10 more to go. I cannot stick to the diet-to limited, but I am still toning up despite of that.
Haven't been to the gym at night this week cause I am working so I go in the AM-I'm up to 2.5 miles-yeah-good for a smoker.

I heard that SATC on Sunday was hillarious, Miranda (who I feel like I am most like-I will be 36 and single probably, plus she has red hair like me) apparantely kept farting-I haven't seen it yet but hopefully they will re-show it Wednesday night-my day off.

PS I like Mr. Big better-he's a hottie

You're running 2 and a half miles a day? What is your secret!!!!! I am so not a good runner. I need my heart rate to be so high so I still with those machines because otherwise to get my target heart rate I'd have to run really fast! And Amy here just can't handle that because of her lungs (I had phnemonia a long time ago).

ANYHOW! Sex and the City is on tonight. I am really excited to see what this episode holds for us! I'm debating on buying the seasons videos...does anyone own any of them? I missed out a lot in the middle because I worked too much and had school.

I doubt it would happen, but it'd be the perfect solution. I mean, afterall, Miranda is a busy laywer who doesn't want to give up her career (plus she really can't handle children). Charlette has a beautiful house all to herself and doesn't need to work.

I had a terrible work-out Friday AM-was sooo dehydrated after I got off of work I only ran 2 miles-blah. Anyways, I was thinking the same thing-maybe Charlotte will end up raising Miranda's child. I missed Sunday's episode too b/c I had to work but I know they will re-run it Wed. evening.

So did anyone see this week's episode? I laughed so hard when Miranda's water broke on Carrie's shoes! How funny! Oh and poor Samantha! At least she knows how to wear a wig and spy! I loved the line after she crashed the hearts...Now your hearts broken too!

Guess what yall!
Will bought me HBO on Demand so now I can watch Sex in the City whenever I want. The only problem is that sometimes it doesn't work and sometimes it cuts it off at the end so you have to replay it and fast forward. The only other drawback is that it only shows you this season's episodes (so I can't watch any of the old ones I missed). Other than that I'm in Heaven!

I heard there is going to be a back-to-back episode of Sex in the City this Wednesday Night on HBO!?!?! Yeah if so! I miss it!

Yeah I couldn't believe that Steve couldn't fricken handle the kid thing. Although it's semi-ironic that in the first episode when the belly button falls off and the cat snatches it, Miranda can't handle that....

Oh well. I was also doubly surprised at Charlotte. I don't understand her. I think she is the epitome of classy style, however she dressed like a school teacher on the way to Vegas. Like loosen up a little...which she eventually did!

Any bets as to whether or not this will be last we see of Richard?!?!

As far as Mirandas little situation, I dont know if its just me but I see she and Steve having a real relationship. I just see it....dont no why but I do.

But Im totally a Miranda, sorta in the middle of things, not wild but not conservative, all about business.
