The story in Star said that her dad did give his blessing. I remember hearing him on the radio last year and he had nothing but nice things to say about Jay.

As for the wedding, I believe it when the offical word come out (through B, Jay or both) and the pics are published in People.

I don't trust this article but I do think they are planning to marry one day.

After just seeing that Ring the Alarm video...and yes I think she is talking about Jay-Z. I don't believe that they are getting married, or atleast that he proposed to her. I think she looks like the type to tell him that they are getting married, and he just go along with it for now, but if this is true I don't see them going through with it. I don't know here lately it seems like Jay-Z may be getting tired of Be"yawn"ce from all of the 'stories' of him and Rhianna and them getting into fights and all that good stuff....so I don't know...we'll see:o

Ok, I may look at it differently, but I just think that most people are trying to discredit their relationship. Beyonce looks happy. Jay looks happy. They appear to be in love. That's all people need to worry about. If they like it, I love it..... Why can't people just be happy when folks are in love? There is always some wild, cockamamie, UNSUBSTANTIATED story targeted to tear people down.

When folks start rolling through with some proof, then I'll believe it. Until then, I'll be looking for my wedding invitation. :D

Just saw the video on youtube.com and I think she's talking about HOVA. At one point she sings. "not the picture perfect story..." and throws up the Roc-A-Fella "diamond symbol". :cool: And why are her videos in this nervous breakdown mode? I thought that she was quoted as saying that she was not going to be like Lauryn Hill and "snap". Hmmm...she'slooks like she's on her way. Lord, I hope she doesn't pull a Lisa "Left-Eye" Lopes (r.i.p.) move and burn the man's house down!:eek:

I agree. There is a strong possibility that she is referencing her relationship. Truth be told, there are several tracks on her cd (especially the one after Ring the Alarm) that make you say hmmmmmmm!
B was on GMA this morning & she said that there were several tracks that she - get this - secretly produced, and NOT even her own manager/father knew of... hummmm. I would like to check out that cleanse she did with molasses syrup which attributed to her 25lb weight loss.

One of my girlfriends is doing the diet now with a recipie she found online. I don't trust it. We'll see how it works in 2 weeks tho.

A co-worker of mine did it too. It's incredibly unhealthy and very temporary. Its really a last resort type of thing.

About 4 years ago, a male friend of mine swore by this and actually did loose alot of weight. Its suppose to detox you or something, but, as with any other quick fix diet, the draw back is crazy if you dont do maintenence. I had the recipie pinned on my wall at work for years but I cant find it!!. Something with molasses & cayenne pepper. Let me know if you can get the link to it. Thanks.

If you mix anything with cayenne pepper will make your stomach fall out!!:eek: I believe in eating healthy (at times) and enjoying yourself. She out to know that southern gals are thick anyway. Our bodies are meant to have curves. If she looses too much, she'll start looking like a tootsie roll pop like Oprah did when she lost all that weight!

Ok...please correct me if I'm wrong. For the diet, all you do is drink lemonade all day, no food. Then, you drink a laxative to help you "drop the kids off". This is just my personal opinion, but I think that sickness feeling comes from not eating all day for several days at a time. I mean, come on. Sometimes I go all day without eating due to being busy and I get light-headed just from that! This diet sounds like when I get sick and can't hold any food down, I can't eat for days and subsequently lose a lot of weight. This sounds the exact same. Stuff coming out but not going in :( Not healthy. I swear I hope I never have to diet b/c I just couldn't do it. I love stuffing my face with fatty foods. And I bet you my Potbelly's sandwich today tasted better than her lemonade ;)

That is it - the Burrough's diet & I will use it for xactly that - cleansing (it couldnt be any worse than casgara sagrada). Especially when I dont have 60 bucks for my next colonic session. Thanks for the feedback!

My husband did the Master Cleanse earlier this year. He doesn't weight himself so he doesn't know how he did. But I agree with an earlier post that with any diet maintenance is key.

I heard that Jay-Z cheated on Beyonce with Rhianna (the SOS song girl) and they won't play the Ring the Alarm song on the radio because she said that it was about her. Also if anyone has the CD listen to song #10 Resentment. In that song Beyonce is pouring out her heart, you can feel the pain in her voice.

Yes Soror...finally someone is seeing what I see...Ring the Alarm sounds more like it was inspired by Kelis's song Caught Out There from the 2001 Kaleidiscope Album http://www.lyricsstyle.com/k/kelis/caughtoutthere.html. Kelis screams in that song, Beyonce screams in Ring the Alarm but I'm sure its coincidence.
And isn't it funny how Beyoncé was quoted as saying, “LeToya was tone-deaf” after the 1st Destiny's Child split and now LeToya Luckett has one of the top selling albums (one that I own and absolutely love) in the country...not bad for a tone deaf girl. I've always maintained that the soulful sound DC had back in 1999 was because of the other members, none of the later DC work sounds anything like Writings on the Wall...and Kelly is a better singer.

I like Beyonce's cd. She tore that song "Resentment" up. I love it. I also like Letoya's cd although I haven't heard the entire thing.

I also remember when she said Letoya was tone deaf lmao!! It was probably immaturity talking. Letoya is so pretty, I always thought she was the prettiest in the group.

I need B to leave her mama at home whenever she goes on interviews. Her parents needs to be cut off.
