What are croc shoes?
 

:confused: help me GC! I know I can google this up. By why bother when you wonderful women with great fashion senses can tell me what they are.

OMG, that has to be the most insane thing I have ever seen. I pray to God that the crocs and the kneeler are for gardening, and that's it!!! Of course, you steal the design and remarket it to the sex crowd as what you're suggesting, Bobby, and I swear, you'd make millions. I'm just sayin...

Haha after reading Bobby's post, the description takes on a whole new meaning:
Great for those jobs that require you to be on your knees. The kneeler is made from the same croslite material that is used for our shoes. This is a great gift.

I bet it will be on every guy's Christmas list this year...

My mom has one of those that she uses out in the garden. And it stays out in the garden thankfully b/c I don't even wanna go and think about other uses for this thing. :o I've used it once before while helping plant some flowers, it's actually an awesome thing to have ridiculous as it might seem/look. :D

They are the UGLIEST things I've ever seen. They are HUGE in Oxford, MS. Everyone from sorority girls to doctors are wearing them. I am probably the only one in town who doesn't own a pair. The worst is a friend of mine who has a pair for her 4 month old child! I could see wearing the harder plastic ones in the garden and I know that chefs will wear a similar shoe but when I see someone wearing jeans, cute top, and bright green Crocs I want to puke. The Ole Miss bookstores is even selling them....

I wear them for water stuff - fishing, boating, kayaking - which is what they were made for. They have non-slip soles and the plastic doesn't get stinky when it's wet. They may not be high fashion, but they are functional.

I see them everywhere, on males and females, kids and adults. Boy Scout camps were recommending them this past summer, because fungi and bacteria won't grow on them.

And, okay, I will admit it -- I own a pair. (But they are not bright green.) And I don't care how they look, they are without a doubt the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. I wear them whenever I can.

I've got a pair of navy Crocs. Yes, they're unattractive but I've found they are wonderful for heel spurs. Next on my list is a pair of the Crocs Relief shoes to see if they are any better for the pain. Trust me, if I could go barefoot or wear cute little sandals or heels I would!

Wow...that kinda surprises me. Do they "breathe" much if you wear them with bare feet? I have visions of hot, sweaty, slimey feet in the summertime.

Because those of you who wear crocs are wearing them to make your feet feel better and not for a fashion statement, I hereby give you immunity to wear crocs. However, wearing them as a fashion statement, that's another story...j/k

I think they "breathe" pretty well, but if they get nasty it's easy to wash them off. Comfortable, low maintenance shoes = heaven! :)

Depends on the model you get... The ones with more holes, of course, breathe more. They are odor-resistant and anti-microbial, too. PLUS, you can put them in the DISHWASHER to clean them. It's super easy!

Being a teacher and on my feet all day..I need to try a pair of these out!:)

Let me know how these work out! I wear a pair of Mary Jane looking sketcher sneakers to work (barefoot... hate wearing socks) and I got a huge blister, and with socks kinda hurt too. I'm thinking about trying Crocs out and those were the same styles I was looking at.

Your district would let you wear them?
If my super had it her way, we'd all be wearing power suits and stilletos. Except for the men, who would be wearing three piece suits and freshly polished shoes

Luckily for me, my district actually allows the building principals to guide the dress code for teachers. In my part of the building (the elementary and middle school are all in one building only one wing is elementary the other is the middle school) we are even allowed to wear flip-flops if we want to (I'm not saying I do or I don't wear them...just that is the rule in my school).So yes, we are allowed to wear Crocs I am assuming since we are allowed to wear flip-flops. I'd ask to make sure though before I wore them.

Will do. I had to look everywhere to find them (the primas), but I finally ordered them from Journeys. One thing to note: they run smaller than regular crocs. I can pm you a site that will let you measure your foot to get the exact size. I am just hoping that they won't be too narrow. I guess I'll just send them back if they don't fit.

Like Tippiechick says, the ones with the holes breath just fine. I've never had a problem with sweaty slime. That's one of the reasons that Scouts have been recommending them (along with them being ant-microbial).

One of the things I like about them is that the PVC they're made from molds to your feet, so after you've worn them awhile, they get even more comfortable.

The Primas are giving me Grendha jelly shoe flashbacks.

How about I saw crocs for sale at a HALLMARK (as in the card store) on Sunday? They were in the front window.
