I saw a trailer last night. There's a set of identical twins this season (neither of which I think is particularly attractive)

This season, an incredible transformation takes place as the finalists face tougher challenges and live the high life participating in glamorous photo shoots all while living under one roof in a posh Los Angeles mansion. See the dramality unfold in the two-hour, seventh-cycle premiere of “America’s Next Top Model” on Wednesday, September 20 (8:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on The CW.

During this cycle, the 13 participants live together and ferociously vie for the grand prize, competing in a highly accelerated modeling boot camp. The participants abilities are tested each week as they strive to master the runway, fashion photo shoots, perfect publicity skills and learn the business aspects of becoming a supermodel, all under 24-hour-a-day surveillance of the “America’s Next Top Model” cameras. Throughout the series, supermodel Tyra Banks, art director of photo shoots Jay Manuel, and runway guru J. Alexander mentor the participants. The new grand prize package for “America’s Next Top Model” will be announced at a later date.



Banks leads the panel of “America’s Next Top Model” judges, comprised of leading fashion industry experts, including supermodel Twiggy, photographer Nigel Barker and runway expert J. Alexander, who closely evaluate the progress of the models to narrow the field each week. In addition, special guest judges appear to critique within his or her area of expertise.

I hope that the prize is still good. I'll be disappointed if they go through the whole season and it's something lackluster.

There are some plain chicks in there. Plain!

But at least most of them are still young enough to be models- I never think it's fair to have a 25 yo who isn't going to have more than one or two years left as a working model (Lisa and Jade).

That's the same thing I was thinking. In the other seasons, there were always one or two that stood out to me. None stand out here.

Yeah- there's one who is a less pretty Reese Witherspoon, and one who looks like a hispanic Hilary Swank, and then there are some PLAIN chicks.

It's possible that we're looking at the pre-makeover pictures. ANTM has an established history of choosing tattered looking girls (i.e. Shandi, Tiffany) and molding them to look half-way presentable (in photos, that is) later on down the line. ;) :D

I hope it's FIERCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!

The girl at the bottom right is beautiful...want to see her go far in the competition.

I really like this show.

The girls are "cute". Nothing striking. The dark "Indian" looking one has an exotic look. Indian may not be the right description, but you can tell from the picture who I'm referring to. But check this...

Look at the girl on the top left. Doesn't she resemble Kim?

This season should be rather interesting considering the fact that theres only one contestant that has a distinct look. Man I can't wait to see who has the crazy walk or the ODB looking grill. LOL.

I am too excited. What do you want to bet Mrs. Jay is coming hard at those girls in the first episode?? I wonder who the next Eva is going to be.

I like the girl with the short hair cut and the Indian looking girl's look.

The Indian girl may win just because they've never had that area represented. (You know they say that's why Nic didn't win and Nicole did) At least the Indian girl is pretty because Nicole was not!!

The indian girl looks like this girl that went to my undergrad.

Why do some of the girls look like past contestants? And it seems that none of them really have the super model quality to them. They look pretty average.

i was wondering the same thing. i first saw the ads and thought they were having an "all-star" competition like w/Survivor or Big Brother. these women look similar to previous contestants.

I would love to see an All-Star edition. Can you imagine seeing Jade, Robin, Eva, Ebony all in a house together?

I am ready!!!! It comes on the night of my birthday! My friends are taking me out to dinner early so we can get back home to watch it!!!
