Our workshops start next Thursday, and our Recruitment isn't until the 14th of September, I believe. I'll post how we end up doing when it's over. We always end up doing really well. :)
I'll know Thursday night since I'm bid-matching. I'll post after the girls accept their bids on Bid Day (Friday!)
So should I use the list of all chapters from last year, or the list from the recruitment forum?

Don't forget about:
Kappa Mu (2006) - Duquesne University :: Spring Formal Recruitment Though I'd think the new chapter would participate in Fall Informal Recruitment. Marquette University - Not sure when they get their charter. Also Spring Formal Recruitment. University of Nevada, Reno - Fall Recruitment but the SK interest meetings will be later, in October. |
Alpha Gamma took Quota + 2 (for a total of 25 NM)!!!! This is the first time we've taken quota since the 70s, and the first time we've take plus (that i know of).
We are soooo exciiiteeeed. |

Congratulations SigKap Coug and Alpha Gamma!!:D |
I have been taking our SK results from GC and putting them on the bulletin board on our National site and hoping to get feedback from women who may not check GC. A new one sent was University of Kansas -- 45 (quota + 1). Yay!!
Ok, updating tonight! :)
What Happened to our Alabama Chapter?
Why did we leave Bama?
Alpha Delta (Tennessee) is having recruitment right now... I'll let y'all know when it's over! :) This is my first recruitment on the other side so I'm really excited and nervous.

Oooh good luck. And remember that they're more scared of you than you are of them ;)
Someone posted in the Recruitment Results thread that U of L (Alpha Theta) took 19 girls. Can we update the list? :D
DONE! :D
Zeta Iota
Hi ladies!! I'm the VPM for ZI and we have recruitment Sept 8, 9, 10. We need 21 for total!!! I'm crossing my fingers!! We were at total last year, until we lost all of our seniors!!! :(
as far as i know, Epsilon Delta will be having informal recruitment September 10-15, with Bid Day being held on the 16th. if i am not mistaken, quota for our tiny little chapter will be 8.. so here's hoping!! i'm sure i'll be able to give you the update on whether we hit total come Bid Day..
but here is something i have been wondering: our chapter has a total set at only 50 girls.. is this bizarre, or are there a number of other small schools who set such a low number of girls each chapter can take?? i mean, i hear chapters talking about taking 25 or more girls during recruitment and it boggles my mind!!! to my knowledge our largest pledge class has been 11!! |
FYI Zeta Kappa (Angelo State) got 13 girls, two of them legacies!
Alpha Delta got 40-ish new members (quota was 49), but we're still doing COR. (If it matters, we got 7 or 8 legacies)
YAY, i'll update today sometime.
/off topic - can someone PM me a Midol?! |
UF
I know Beta Tau got quota although I don't know what that number is. They did it for the 2nd year in a row and that was the first time they had done it in many many many years.
I am so pround of my girls! |
That's great news to hear! :)
Just wishing ya'll a successful recruitment.
Beta Tau got 52 lovely new members (quota plus one)!
From what I understand, after COR, Alpha Delta has 50 lovely new members, which is quota+1. Not sure if it's still considered that way since we did COR but we still have 50... which seems pretty huge to me!
According the their website it looks like Berkeley got 22 members. I don't know what quota was though.
Pardon the crash, but Berkeley quota was 20
/end crash Quote:
Danke... Sorry, I'm so behind, but I'm going to update I swear! :)
