Great Delta stuff on eBay.

Okay, I'm an AKA, but I love great para. And for those who're interested, there's some great DST stuff on eBay right now. Examples:

Umm ITEM #2 is not great at all.

It is actually made of recycled Kool-Aid Packages that have been thoroughly cleaned and constructed into this sturdy and stylish handbag. The handbag has a small inside pocket and is perfect for taking just about anywhere...church (can hold your Bible, study material and other personal items); school (can hold notebooks, folders, and other small essentials); office (perfect to take along to meetings or for everyday use). Whether you're a student, professional or anywhere in between, you'll LOVE your new Kool-Aid Bag.

WTF? :( No thank you.

Glad I'm not the only one who thought that about the bag.

Pardon my crash, but nothing says I HEART JESUS more than carrying your Bible around in recycled Kool-Aid packages.

I am still sitting here perplexed at who REALLY recycles Kool Aid packages, fashioned them together into a purse, purports it is great to carry a Bible in, and is made for professionals.

Socialite2020 ( I don't know if you're a soror or not; gotta check the new intro. thred)

Anyway, I know you didn't think that the Deltas would fall in love with a red kool-aid bag purse. If ebay were selling a lime green kool-aid bag purse with AKA slapped on the side with hot glue, you know that would be a H.A.M.

She posted a medium sized AKA shirt in the AKA forum that is being sold by the same person as the towels and Kool Aid purse. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

I know. maybe it's really unknown2u trying to get us greeks to buy para and when we do, it's some holy water to help us with all of our "greekly" sins.....

You are so wrong for that!

Anyway, she has previously stated that she doesn't have time to make up additional screen names. She can handle her business like a woman while still being unknown to U!

PinkPop 08-11-2006 08:02 PM

That Kool Aid bag is all wrong. It can't get any wronger. Delta's please don't rock this purse.

kiml122 08-11-2006 08:48 PM

Ok, I had to go and look and see what the deal was with this bag when CT$ posted that it was a bag made out of Kool-Aid packages....ok I saw and I am so out done by this.....if I ever see a soror carrying this madness and thinking they are rocking it I will have to say ummm, you are so wrong.

ETA: The title of this thread is "Great Delta stuff on Ebay"....ummm no it's not!!!

tunatartare 08-11-2006 08:53 PM

I love it how the auctions say that only Deltas can buy those items. My question is, are they really going to check?

LMAO

jitterbug13 08-11-2006 11:33 PM

I love collecting Delta para but I have my limits. That Kool-Aid bag is ugly. Delta's precious letters were not created to be put on such an ugly bag.

I know they closed the thread on AKA Ave., but did ya'll notice that the ivy is crooked? :p

ETA: After looking at all of the Delta stuff on Ebay, I feel that there is just some stuff that should not be solicited to Greeks.

I was just over on our intro thread, nothing there.

jitterbug13 08-12-2006 12:19 AM

Why I was looking through the AKA items and saw a pair of thongs with 1908 on them and a shirt that had a frog that looked like a drunk Kermit?

RedefinedDiva 08-12-2006 03:32 AM

The seller is the same for all of these misguided items.

Delta_Girl1913 08-12-2006 03:56 AM

This is a hot hot mess. A kool-aid purse:eek: !!!!!!!!!!!! Who in their right mind could have possibly thought that this would even appeal to anyone. My God. I am absolutely speechless!

Its SPAM everyone!!

^^
Definitely. Why was she over in Chit Chat talking about "Kool-Aid bags?" Yes, I know there are some unusual mediums for handbags (hijack: Louis Vuitton is showing metallic vinyl purses this season), but recycled Kool-Aid receptacles should NEVER be used for a purse that any grown woman wears, Greek or not.

We need to stop the people who think that greeks will buy these homemade items. There are some really nice things that I have purchased from people who have the TALENT to do handmade items, but I know they didn't use their children to drink a case of Kool-aid on the go and then slap it together and call it a purse.
