That was my reaction when I saw it on Yahoo front page. :eek:

I told my mom and she said that it was expected.

I'm not so :eek: about the heart attack...that's not surprising...I'm just :eek: that he DIED!

He was my sister-in-law's boss...even as his exec secretary, she firmly believed that he never did anything wrong, that it was all a big misunderstanding.:rolleyes: She's really ditzy...anyway, I'm sure this has torn her up. I am not gonna call over there.

RIP brother Lay. :(

The conspiracy theorist in me wants to think that he "died." Like, the government secreted him away to an island in the Bahamas, gave him a fake name, some cash, and a hut with a bar that serves drinks with little umbrellas in them...cause they knew it would all get back to them eventually.

Okay, probably not. Although the government is sneaky...and puts their spoons in a lot of different pots...

Anyway, enough of my delusional cover-up theories. I was shocked to hear that he died, although I guess that much stress will do it to anyone. RIP Ken Lay. You made business ethics way more exciting than it should have been...thanks man.

Did he really have a heart attack, or did he commit suicide when faced with prison?

That was my first thought too. I think I may be watching a little too much Law & Order and CSI.

I'm pretty sure I could tell you exactly what to inject to cause a heart attack...

Dude had a heart attack before... Amazing he didn't have very good treatment for it, though... And he was under a lot of stress... That's too bad... Who's gonna pay for all the money lost?

TFM in my opinion. Now the family can keep their money. He probobly faked his death and is fratting it hard in a foreign country. Afterall, they had a closed casket ceremony.
