what are your favorite online greek stores and why?

Or do you totally avoid online greek stores?

I liked sororityspecialties.com I've only used them once but they had a premade stole in stock and I could get it in time for graduation. Came exactly as ordered!

Other than that I haven't ordered much online greek-wise.

Umm...the model has a side-pony tail, and that's the most fashionable thing about her. Enough said.

I guess there's a market for flash-dance and 80's inspired greek clothing that I didn't know about...

IMO, some of that stuff on that site is tacky/ugly.

I found that site last week and thought it was almost a joke. The puffy flower tees and the weird sweatshirts are tacky. I like the paper doll tees though. They're cute.

ETA: my personal favorite is that the site claims to be "the pinnacle of sorority fashion."

Did you take a look at the pants? If you haven't, you really should.

ETA: I just read the "About Us" section. "OXFORD CIRCUS has created a line of subtly Greek tops and bottoms with a vintage urban feel." First of all, I don't think a big fabric flower on your side is really all that subtle. Second of all, the only "urban" place this line would fit in would be the 1980's New York in "Fame".

Oh I did. They left me in tears. I was that upset that they don't make them for locals.

Maybe you could email them a special order...

I think anyone could cut out some letters and stick them to the sides of one of those puffy flowers...

They look like a 5 year old did some of the cutting....

is that puffy paint or embroidery?

What's somewhat upsetting is that this company is actually LICENSED through greek licensing.

Oh well, at least they don't sell puffy painted sorority thongs. Yet.

You know, now that I look at it...I can't tell...

They only sell up to a size 8 too...

The description says embroidery. I still say tacky...

That puffy flower thing is hideous. They have them on sweatpants, too. It looks like an elementary school art project.

I noticed that they called it a dove...but I really thought they were trying for a penguin before I read the discription.

Oh yes, still sucky, just less than the puffy flowers from hell

and alphafrog, couldn't you tell it's a dove because of the olive branch? I mean, don't all doves carry those around all day to tell themselves apart from penguins?

It's on our (KD) crest, but it's not something we ever use as a symbol or anything. If I saw someone in that shirt i'd think they had pirate aspirations.

We use skull and crossbones, but I that shirt seems a little to pirate to me too.

I believe Chi Omega has a s&c on their badge on the left-hand side.

So what if shirts were more fashionable with your letters on it? Maybe like styles from Gap, Limited, Express, Urban Outfitters... etc.

This is what im gearing towards.

Oh I think having some fashionable sorority clothes would be great, I am just not sure I want something that looks like a middle schooler would wear it like some of these did.

On that note, some of the Victoria's Secret "Pink" stuff this season has some sorority themes to it. If they made hoodies with my letters that were as soft as some of VS's stuff I would buy it.
