100 Calorie Packs

Has anyone tried the (fairly) new 100 Calorie Packs that they have out? Several manufacturers are starting to do it, and I love the new varieties! Today at the store I found Cheetos, Doritos (Nacho Cheese and Cool Ranch) and Sun Chips.

What's your favorite 100 Calorie Pack? I think Cheetos are a new fave for me, and the Keebler Fudge stripe cookies or Pecan Sandies.

I like the Oreos and chocolate chip cookies. I've got my daughter hooked on them now too as we're trying to cut down in my house but trying to find a way to deal with those monthly chocolate cravings. I haven't seen the Cheetos ones. My kids love Cheetos so I'll need to find those.

That's the best part about these, you don't have to buy a whole big package of one kind of snack food. Plus it's only 100 calories, so you don't have to feel bad!

I love the cheez its and the oreos!

CarolinaCutie 06-18-2006 04:49 PM

I love the Oreo ones... I would almost rather eat those "oreo chips" than a real Oreo. I'll have to try the Pecan Sandies, mmmm.

I live for the chocolate chip & oreo ones...

I like them too. They satisfy my sweet tooth after lunch.

Due to my healthier snacking (and stressful job, lol) I've lost nearly 15 pounds since January.

All I've seen are the Oreo and Chips Ahoy! 100-calorie packs. Those are good, but I'm missing out!

I used to eat the cheeze-it packs on my way to class in the mornings. That, and a mountain dew made me rather happy. It took me awhile to get used to them cause I'm used to eating a lot at one time (bad habit I'm trying to break), but I got better at it. They're also great for keeping in your backpack for in between classes. I also just saw the Doritos packs, so I'll have to get some of those.

I love the Chips Ahoy ones!

The Cheetos and Doritos are awesome!! I bought them a couple weeks ago and they taste just like the real thing, but they are smaller.

My husband and I have a cabinet of boxes full of the 100 calorie packs. Among our favorites, besides the ones listed above, are Oreo, Chips Ahoy, Nutter Butters, and the Ritz Snack Mix (it's like a Chex Mix).

i love them! I found chocolate gold fish once and they were awesome, but have not seen them since. I should've bought them out at that time! I just get the sweet ones....oreos, chips ahoy...for my afternoon sweet craving.

dzfan 06-19-2006 10:59 AM

I like the wheat thin ones...

squirrely girl 06-19-2006 11:15 AM

the cheezits are pretty tasty

I know the commercial when Colin multiplies himself to demonstrate how many chips you get in a pack....but come on...are the Cheetos ones like <> this big??

adpiucf 06-19-2006 11:28 AM

I'd be afraid of eating the whole box...

Someday my metabolism is going to rebel.

Buttonz 06-19-2006 12:18 PM

I love the Chip Ahoy ones! They make a great breakfast while in class also :) I need to see if I can find the SUn Chips ones, now that i know they make them.

The oreo's...well it's not as good without the stuffing

100 calorie packs are great for weight watchers - only 2 points! I love them.

squirrely girl 06-19-2006 03:35 PM

i just tried the doritos today - taste like the regular ones and totally hit the spot!

jillybean 06-19-2006 04:39 PM

Word. You have to be careful with some of them though - the Doritos are 100 calories but 3 points.

I found those at Walmart about 2 weeks ago. Very good.

As for the others, I love them. Good portion control and just enough to not over eat. I eat the choc. chip ones and they are very good.

I usually eat one a day sometimes because I have a sweet tooth and this gives me a sweet, but not too many calories.

Ritz Chips come in 100 Calorie Packs as well. MMMMM!

bluefish81 06-22-2006 07:25 PM

My co-worker now has me addicted to the Graham Cracker ones. I love that there are now more varieties.

VandalSquirrel 06-22-2006 08:55 PM

I found Pop Secret 100 Calorie popcorn bags last Friday. I got a box of 10 for $2.50 and they taste awesome. My boss and I keep a variety of the 100 calorie snacks at work to prevent us from wasting money on the vending machine. It is a lot cheaper and healthier than wasting 75 cents on a 350 calorie Snickers bar. We buy them on sale as well as Diet Coke and we haven't seen the vending machine in months.

Now we just spend money on coffee, and only because our coworkers think we make the coffee too strong and whine about it. We may just buy our own coffee maker for the three of us who don't drink brown water.

The chex mix ones, or whichever ones are supposed to be like chex mix, are 2.5-3 points...but definitely not 2. Its those damn fat grams & no fiber.

ShaedyKD 07-15-2006 04:11 PM

My new find:
http://www.hersheys.com/products/det...snacksters.jpg

I only got the Reeses ones, because I don't like chocolate, but they are sooooo good!

* HERSHEY'S - cereal puffs, chocolate chip cookies, and semi-sweet & milk chocolate chips
* REESE'S - cereal puffs, peanut butter chips, cereal squares, and REESE'S PIECES

squirrely girl 07-16-2006 01:06 PM

i just tried the oreo ones the other day - those are pretty tasty!

RioLambdaAlum 07-18-2006 01:20 AM

I like the oreos.
