That's seriously the name of the group? Where did they come up with THAT?!?

I have Thursdays' eppy on my DVR but haven't had a chance to watch it yet.

WTF happened to Aubrey? I liked her the first time around, as far as looks. Last season she looked like a coked out wannabe-friend-of-Paris Hilton. Now it's like... eh.

Poor Shannon looks like she's in for it next week. I never understood why she was picked... I mean she could sing and all, but she was married and never seemed to be as good a pick as the others to me.

Ok so I was over in another GLO's forum, reading the thread about MTB. I didn't want to crash their board so I'll ask it here...

If everyone dislikes the girls in the band so much, who would YOU have put in the band?

My pick still would have included Aubrey and Aundrea, but I'd have added Taquita. I can't remember who else I liked on there.

I'm pretty satisfied with the group puffy selected.

Random-- I've been to that club in Houston! They have talent nights where they showcase up and comers.

Did anyone see the preview for the next episode. "Do rats lay eggs?" LOL

I like the band as it is too. And I know I'm complaining about Shannon, but not so much because I have issues with her, but I think Diddy's going to more and more. Especially cause he can't capitalize on her as a sex symbol that's symbol, b/c she has a ring around her finger.

Audrey and Aubrey are hands down my faves though. I really like Taquita too now that I watch the show. And Dawn's was sweet. The past 2 episodes definitely let me get a feel for them, and appreciate them more.

The end of the show was so beautiful to me. Like the "I love you forever" thing. Like I got tears in my eyes... crazy.

And next week's previews worry me. Aubrey better not go home. That will be NO good!!

What happened last night?

IT WAS GOOD!!!! So there was the mouse part of the story which was eh. Basically, the girls come back to the house and Aubrey has brown hair...I'm not a fan of it, but whatever. Anyway, so the Readers' Digest version is that Diddy thinks they're good but not great and sends them to a vocal coach. He comes into the practices like 3 times and each time he says they sound like crap...even booing them once. He focused on Shannon and said she's the one who needs the most work. Finally he gets fed up and takes them into the studio to record how bad they sound...and it sounds BAD. He determines that they need more work than he expected, yada yada yada. So he sends them back to the vocal coach and surprises them in yet another practice. He makes them sing a cappella and they all sound pretty good, but again he's saying Shannon is sucking. So finally after singing the 'i love you, i need you' song over and over Shannon finally gets it and Diddy gets goosebumps (i had them too!). They are all crying and Shannon calls it a "cleansing". The preview for next week is the killer....it shows them at a radio station where they sing on the air and the Dj says they're "whack". Then Diddy is telling Aubrey "i'm going to send you home" and she's crying in a hallway. Looks SOOOOOOO good!

My boyfriend stopped the recording of MTB to watch Rockstar Supernova while I was out "because MTV repeats shows a 100 times anyway," someone tell me what happened please! I know I can catch it later, but what happened with Aubrey!?

The editors of the show sure do know how to keep your interest though! I don't know what people expect of "reality shows":rolleyes: ...but obviously there are enough people are INTERESTED in watching and do so faithfully every week...Last nights show was alright to me...we have to remember, this is a group starting from scratch - we can't expect them to be Destiny's Child or any other "group" that's been performing for years together...:cool:

I dont recall anyone saying that they expected them to be like Destinys Child, all I know is right now they SUCK<----- (my opinion)and they have much work to do.......

Well (in my opinion) lets give them CREDIT, how would you like to enter a new arena and be expected to PERFECT from day one...Give me a break, it will never happen like that! Mistakes, growing up, going through a learning curve, and maturing is a process that EVERYONE must go through!

TRUE talent has nothing to do with a learning curve etc.. You either have IT or you DONT. This group SUCKS with two straws right now, and they have much hard work ahead of them if they expect to make it far. IMO

LMAO!!!! I actually don't think they're horrible, but I bet they aren't impressing too many people right now. I heard some song that is supposed to be their new single and it was NOT good. I'm hoping they reconsider. :)

Yeah I heard the song too, and I was not impressed. Guess I better not say anything else negative about them lest I be punished by the talent police:rolleyes: :)

I don't think the song that is on their myspace page is their official release because it isn't being played on the radio...

Hmmmm....that would be weird for them to only put one song on their page if it wasn't the single. But I guess we just have to wait and see.

But also who is writing their music? Is it them or the "team"?

The song on Myspace could be (speculating here) something that they wanted everyone to hear but not actually put it on their album...but who knows..

Guess I stand corrected...but as I listen to it...there isn't anything wrong it (personal opinion)...i've heard worst out there...(from different groups/artists)...example - I'm in love with a stripper...stupid song...

HAHAHAHAHAHA....if "i'm in love with a stripper" is the standard then the bar is pretty low! (I agree, that song is ridiculous) As for MTB3, I think the song is bad....if that's an indication of what their album sounds like then I'm not impressed at all. Although I am pretty surprised that Diddy would let them put out a crappy song....after all his big talk he's going to let them put out a song that is just okay? Seems like a waste to me. Those girls can sound good when they are all ON, you know?

The song is "Lean With It Rock With It" or "Snap Yo Fingers" or "It's Going Down" but with girls instead of guys. By the time the single is publicly released, that sound should be finally out of style and they might have to pick another one.

In regards to Shannon: I'm POSITIVE that she's only in the group as a favor to Johnny Wright who was managing her and had her on his now defunt record label. She was second runner up on the CBS (or was it NBC)'s tv reality series FAME. So I think someone is taking Taquita's space. That girl was funny and really made the show better. In a way I'm glad she didn't make it, it seems like one way or another, everything Diddy touches turns to dust. They make the band to make the show to make the ratings, not the music!

no that song "i'm in love with a stripper" is not the standard but it is definitely a ridiculous song...the majority and quality of songs these days have no substance...

So I didn't hate the song tonight, but it reminded me of their myspace one- very staccato and choppy. I hope their whole album's not like that. I don't hate it, but I sure don't like it that way...

I do like when they make things work out though and when they show the band's growth together. Hopefully they help Aubrey next week and put her back in the song too. Seriously.
