Not sure, but I can't decide if I like the threaded mode or not...

I don't think they can. People were having problems with that on geekboards.

That's why it's a good thing you can set it yourself to how you want posts to show. Also note there are 3 different text editors available...

Go into your User CP/Options. You can basically make GC to work the way you want it to. Go ahead, play around.

The old smilies were probably imported from the old version. I'll see about getting the new smilies setup tonight...

Eh, I'm a teacher, it's the summer...my days look like this: Get up around 9:30/10:00; Work out done by noon; lunch; lay out at pool from about 1:00-3:00; Come back & shower; Play video games; Read; Make dinner; Go see friends; Go to bed; Start over.

I'm not sure what the deal is with the letters in firefox. Greek letters displayed properly in firefox in the old forum software? Just want to be sure it wasn't a previous issue also. I'll look into this, but probably not something I'll be able to get to immediately.

John, correct. Everything worked fine in old GC, and with the new forum software it doesn't. However, I noticed it will show up correctly in the WYSIWYG editor, just not anywhere else. Maybe there's a way you can load the symbol font into the forum? I dunno....

And I noticed you have the new smilies up. I know i'm being picky but is there a way we could have both old and new? :)

Yaay!!! Back in the business again...

There is a way to get Greek letters to display in every other font, you know...just look through Character Map. :cool:


To test it out, are the Greek letters in my sig showing up to everyone? I'm on a PC (bleh!) running Firefox--how about everyone else?
