Entertainment Random

Why Not?? We need a thread where we can post random Celeb stuff without having to start something new for a tiny tidbit. Such as:

Rosanne is looking extremely old lately. I know she's no spring chicken...but somehow I thought she'd end up like Elizabeth Taylor, who somehow manages to avoid looking her 74 years.

adpiucf 05-15-2006 01:29 PM

I like her better a blonde. It is a softer look, don't you think?

I suppose, but she's the same age as my mom, and somehow looks 10 years older then her. (And most people guess my mom as older then she is)

My husband was watching a Spanish Music Awards show last night. Coldplay won best English Language disc, and Gwen Stefani won best Revolutionary English Language disc. I don't remember who else was nominated w/Coldplay. Gwen was up against Ashlee Simpson, Kelly Clarkson, and someone else, who I can't remember. I was all:confused:  by their choices.

CrimsonTide4 06-05-2006 01:57 PM

Who is the woman with Roseanne?

Optimist Prime 06-05-2006 02:23 PM

Thanks! I kept thinking he/she looked familiar but I only watched the first ep of this season.

The word "Revolution" (Revolución) has a little different connotation in the Latino world. It's more like "breakthrough" or "breakout".

That is Alexis Arquette, she was in Surreal Life, but she was also in The Wedding Singer. She is also a member of the Arquette Clan...sister or brother (she is tras-gender) to David, Rosanna, and Patricia.

I love Alexis Arquette. I dunno - there's just something about her. Haha.

Britney Spears will be on Dateline Thursday. Should be interesting. She's talking about the tabloids, Kevin, allegations that she's a bad parent.

I DEMAND TO SEE TOMKAT'S BABY AS PROOF THAT IT REALLY EXISTS!!!!!!!!!!!

jitterbug13 06-24-2006 04:52 PM

^^^^^
Why I was thinking the same thing earlier today? People has a countdown on how many days since the baby was born and there are no pics to prove that she exists.

I saw an article in SFgate.com's gossip corner that her friends are all "deeply worried that Katie is losing weight too fast after having her baby. She works out a lot more than she should and is on a strict diet."

Makes me think that there IS no baby and having that story out won't make it seem like such a shocker when she comes back out in the public eye in a size 2 dress.

texas*princess 06-26-2006 07:01 AM

more on Suri Cruise????

Check it out!!

I hate girls on TV with horrible white eyeliner. I just saw this on the Tyra show AND something on MTV. I mean when do people EVER use it well!? BLAH!!

Any bets on when they'll be having Dianetic Spawn #2?

Lots of men in the world are weeping tonight.

Jessica Alba is pregnant

Good for her. She's beautiful, no doubt. Hopefully she'll be better at being a mom than she is an actress. :p

While I am happy for her, what is it nowadays with "famous" people having babies and not being married? My 7-year-old neice has decided that she wants a baby. When her mom asked her with who, she said her boyfriend. Yeah, I rolled my eyes.

Tough break. Alexa is actually a cute girl. It's just that she got the more feminine version of Billy's looks and none of Christie's. And standing next to Christie doesn't do her justice. (well...it probably wouldn't do anyone justice...Christie still looks amazing even in her 50s)

Ryan Reynolds & Scarlett Johansson engaged

http://www.cnn.com/2008/SHOWBIZ/Movi....ap/index.html

Me thinks he's going to be engaged to someone else in about 2 years.

...NEXT!

Maybe instead of "runaway" bride it's "runaway" groom. He just likes being engaged

nittanyalum 05-05-2008 11:29 PM

I've never been a Scarlett Johansen fan, I've never really understood the hoopla. I really like Ryan Reynolds, though. Anyone else remember him being on a Canadian show called "15" back in the 80s?

ETA: Or maybe it was closer to '90

It was called Hillside here, which I always thought was cute, because there was a local Hillside Junior High at the time, and I used to think the show was about the school since it was filmed here for awhile.

Of course I remember 'Fifteen' as well! Except I wasn't in love with Ryan Reynolds. I was in love with Matt and Dylan. I remember when little Billy (Reynolds) used to play the drums in that band! Who knew he'd turn out so damn hot?

RU OX Alum 05-06-2008 09:36 AM

I'm looking forward to her album.

CLAY AIKEN'S GONNA BE A DAD

But wait! It gets better!!!

It still doesn't answer the question of whose team he bats for, though.

knight_shadow 05-29-2008 06:56 PM

^^ He looks like death in that picture. Jeeez.

jitterbug13 05-29-2008 08:23 PM

The thought of Barry Manilow Jr. (aka Clay Aiken) getting someone pregnant, even if it's in vitro, makes me shudder.

Senusret I 05-29-2008 08:30 PM

He reminds me of a grown up version of Sam from Diff'rent Strokes.

HEY NOW!!

Watch what you say about Barry.

Aiken? Meh, he's fair game. :)

Anyone else notice that BET bought Diff'rent Strokes and has been playinig marathons? I took in a few episodes last weekend.

Senusret I 05-30-2008 04:54 PM

^^^ I've been catching them! It's a real quality show, especially since they really gave everyone equal airtime and it wasn't "The Gary Coleman Show."

I catch myself singing their theme song at random places since they've been showing it on BET.

texas*princess 06-01-2008 10:23 PM

OMG ... I've got that Denise Richards "reality show" on... geez. So far I've heard the phrase "set the record straight" at least 238929834923824 times.

Seriously.
