Weight-loss Challenge begins HERE on 4/23/06!
Hi Ladies,
As promised, here is the challenge. Its modeled after one I did at ediets.com (which is a great website if your serious about losing weight). I'm going to lay down the rules, and feel free to jump in at any time and start the challenge with us. I'll be keeping track of points, and I hope someone else will keep track as well. To test it out, let's go for a month, until 5/23/06 and lets see how we all did! Rules: You get one point for doing the following things: -Drinking at least 64 oz. of water for that day -Sticking to your healthy mealplan (or within your caloric intake) -Exercising at least 30 minutes that day -Noting all food intake in your food journal -Checking in on the board So you can get up to 5 points per day. Plus we can have a weekly challenge, which can give you extra points if you participate. Everyone got it? Everyone ready? Let's start tomorrow! :D |

Checkin' In
I'm foreshadowing for today so that I can check in. Since I don't have a computer at home, I can't check the boards after 5, but I'm not done eating (or drinking) at that time. So I'm foreshadowing. I promise if it's wrong, I'll adjust on Monday.

I had not one, but TWO bad eating days this past week. I weighed in at WW on Wednesday and I'd lost 2.2lbs :), so that's good. But my mind has me in a bad place right now and all I want to do is eat. I'm trying to get a handle on it. I was WAY off plan yesterday, but I'm back on it today. I'm participating in Take Back the Night, so I'll get my exercise in (we're marching). But it's also the source of my emotional turmoil. If anyone here is battling depression or another mental illness and would like to discuss how it affects our eating habits PLEASE PM me. Diary of a Fat Housewife by Rosemary Green
I just started this book the other day. I like it. I've read the reviews (many negative), but I am enjoying hearing about her struggle. I can relate to some things, but so far, not to EVERYTHING. Still, I think we can all relate to at least part of her journey. Like I said, I just started reading, so if it gets worse, I didn't know. :) |

Yeah!! I am here!! I did not realize the thread had started!!
