Actually, the sneak peek was just announced this morning so you really didn't miss anything. We got invited to the sneak peek because we are active here (using technology to keep in touch, etc). The site will be officially launched to everyone at a later date (they want to launch the site with message boards populated, etc - or at least that is what I have gathered from the e-mail).

I'm truly excited about it because it is a more casual place to 'hang out' than My AOII - and the message boards are DEFINITELY more user friendly!

That's right. Use InCircle, complete your info and utilize the various communication options available. Play with it and play some more! It's going to be a fantastic resource for us.

AOIIGal can attest I pretty much stuck my foot in my mouth at a meeting regarding My AOII. I'm SO SO glad that inCircle is user friendly and it's getting such a great response! I love watching our "friends" list growing and growing. I think I have invited 4 pages of people and I'm only on letter "C". Wow. I've got more work to do to tell people about inCircle.

I think it is going to be great. I'm trying to get as many chapter alumnae on it as I can - it will make it SO much easier to get the information out.

I am already addicted. IHQ said only AOII and Tri-Delt are using inCircle. How high tech are we.... :)

I love it and it is SO easy to use. Tri Delta has had theirs for a long time.

Congrats to Glitter and AOIIGal for being the most connected. Silver, you need to hurry up and join because I created a group right up your ally. :p

It's awfully quiet again since InCircle started :)

We're all helping populate inCircle before it is launched on the 26th. Gotta help out Colleen. Yeah, that's it! LOL

It is, isn't it? Oh well, we'll always have Greek Chat! :D

InCircle will be great for AOII sisterhood, but Greekchat and our own chapter websites will be great PR tools to show the rest of the Greek World and the community how cool it is to be an AOII.

We can still invite potential members to visit us here and get to know us!

I'm trying to get in touch with her. I know that last year she gave up Greek Chat for Lent - but I haven't been able to reach her for almost 2 months now. . . .

I absolutely LOVE inCircle. I'm trying to get the ladies in my chapter to join, but everything has been so hectic with finals and such. I can't wait to see what kinds of things can be done with inCircle.

I am on InCircle, but I can't figure out how to search for people without them being connected to someone I am connected to (at least to some degree). I like it - a lot of my girls have joined and I created a group for Kappa Omicron. So yeah - it's pretty cool. They like the whole facebook for AOII's thing.

I think I'm a slacker...I've been to involved with work that I haven't been online and just signed up for incircle this week.

Although, I didn't see a group for us greekchatters. I made one for us. It's under the interests section or if you're looking by state---I live in Wyoming, so it's under the Wyoming tab.

You can SO tell that the e-mail went out to everyone yesterday! I am VERY glad this is taking off like it appears to be - a very nice way to keep in touch with sisters from everywhere and meet new sisters! (And possibly even get a new AC started because we have women who are possibly interested!!!!)

Does anyone know how to turn off the daily "digest" e-mails? It's kind of annoying me. I'd rather not get them.

Oh - and i am talking about the group e-mails, not the e-mails just to me or about groups that are started. Thanks!

I got an email stating that you could in under my network, click on settings and change all of them. It doesn't work though. I still get all the emails. They really need to fix this glitch. Some of the people in my Alum group are getting really turned off by all the emails. They love the website, but there are just a few little things that need to be tweaked.

Ugh - that's a pain. Oh well - I guess I can send an e-mail to the admin or something regarding the bug. Maybe if enough people complain they will fix it.

I wish there was a way to tell when you search for people which ones have actually joined incircle. It looks like you see everyone who has registered for the sister's side of the AOII website whether they joined incircle or not.

Anyone who has an in with the IT department??? ;)

You have to adjust it under each group. When you click on a particular group, you will see "Settings" on the left side. Press that and then click "edit". From there, you can choose if you want to receive e-mails and how often from that group. All of mine are set to "Never". My inbox is happy. ;)

No "in" but I've done a search by chapter name, and those who have at least logged in once previously are listed first based on connections.

I found it! Am waiting for my official email to get to me. Looks like a fun place to visit!
