Have any of you all seen this new show on the Bravo network?

This seems like it is going to be my new guilty pleasure!

Just a few observations:

1. I don't know what I would do if my husband wanted me to get implants.

2. I think Lauri's daughter Ashley (the 20 yr old who decided to move back in with mom) looks A LOT like Kristin from Laguna Beach---she even has the same facial expressions.

3. I dont like Jo!

I like the show. The rabbit killer is a little weird to me though.

I saw that too. I dont think I'll be watching this one.

This show is awesome. I'm in a few episodes.

The girl going to senior prom having her hair done had some bad root action. If you have that much money why aren't your roots well kept?

Jo really bothers me. Why doesn't she get a volunteer position, do charity work, take a class, do SOMETHING other than sit around in tragic velour track suits and whine all day before going out drinking? The women with money I know, granted they were the mothers of my friends, were busy doing things outside of the home and didn't sit around all day.

Are the women you know hot like Jo?

Do the women you know have a TV show?

I watched the episode on and off. Whatever it was airing during was better, but it's definitely interesting. :)

Oh I didn't realize there was a contest. Her looks don't play into this as she is an adult and can control her life and go out and do something, money and time obviously aren't impeding her. The other women aren't sitting around and complaining, they're actually doing something with their lives. The ladies she had drinks with were examples of what she could be doing other than bitching. They even commented on how they'd have long gone crazy staying home all day like she does. She already admitted to not being able to cook, she could take a class or something.

What I've gathered from the previews, her man gets tired of her antics, so her behavior exceeds her looks at some point.

HAHAHAHAHA. Love it.

Anyone still watching this show?

Vicki is annoying. She is a tramp.

Jo was the only house girlfriend that was really hot. Shane should have gotten with her.

I agree. When she showed up @ her son's place with beer in hand and going "Whoo Hooo" unannounced..eeech.. If I were him, I'd be pissed too.

True, she's the reason my husband won't watch the show anymore. Except for the time she tried her hand at "singing" and was starting to record an album!

The new show will be called Manhattan Moms.

I agree that Vicki is annoying. She is wound waaaaaaaaaaay too tight and has the most obnoxious voice.
I also can't stand Tamra and her waste of a son. She created him, so what do you expect. At least she had those rediculous implants reduced.
I still think Lauri is a gold-digger.
I have always liked Jeanna and feel bad for her. Her hubby (soon to be ex) is an ass.
I like Tammie. She is the only one that I really think I could relate to. But then, her ex left her in quite a financial predicament twice.
I think Quinn is interesting.

As for Jo, can someone tell me if she was a Pi Phi? I swear that I saw her wearing a pair of sweatpants with the letters on the butt.

I'm pretty sure she went to UCI and they do have a Pi Phi chapter there.

Ok, I take this back. I saw a preview of the NYC chicks...yuck. I'll pass.

The white wedding dress for your third? (or fourth) marriage was a real classy touch.

Well what would you expect from Lauri? Nothing classy about her. But, I must admit, this season I like her more than Vicki.

And that is the classiest thing about her.

Does anyone know when the NY show starts? I still have to watch the season finale off the DVR from this week.

I think Bravo has a sneak preview Friday afternoon. Don't know if it is a re-run or not

Why weren't Jo and Slade on this season?

Nope. They are both living in LA. Jo moved there and Slade followed to manage her "career" (term used loosely)

On one episode Vicki brought up her disgust at Jeanna allowing Slade to store some of his things in her "investment property's" garage while he leased out his home.

I knew Slade had moved, too, but I missed that it was to manage her career. He was a nice guy, decent looking and rich...how did she have him so whipped?

He was such an A$$;)

Ok, so I watched the 15 minute preview. It's still going to be on the level of rediculous, but I think there is more depth to these women than OC. One of the women does annoy me already, but there are several that look interesting (i.e. the Countess by marriage). It's refreshing to see they have normal looking bodies too.

I know they've all had "work" done, but I wonder if Vicki has ANY of her original parts.

Just the nose. I know someone replaced her brain.

I found them to be obnoxious actually. The blond that is always embarrassing her daughter irritated me the most. I don't plan on watching this show. To me, it seems like these women are trying too hard to show up their West Coast counterparts.

I didn't like Vicki at all. I won't be surprised if Jeanna and Vicki's husband hooked up. And did you all think that Vicki's assistant looked alot like her after the makeover? I was like OMG Vicki is trying to clone herself:eek:

Quinn- I thought Billy was hot. I know she was looking for a commitment (after 3 months), but the way she kept whining about it annoyed the crap out of me. She just came off as needed and desparate

I agree with you completely on Quinn and Billy. If she wants to push for a commitment that soon, she would probably have better luck if she had a guy her own age. Frankly, if someone did that to me, I would run the other way.

Most often, three months is just too soon, but I'm not sure of her version of "commitment". To some, it means dating that person exclusively at present, for others, it means something more long-term. My California cousin and I always have a debate on the terminology of dating. To her, "dating" is something exclusive, for me it can mean you are seeing one or more persons.

I have thought the same thing about Jeanna and Don (Vicki's hubby). Vicki is always ordering him around and I would be embarrassed if a spouse of mine was drunk as often as she is and behaved the way that she does.
