We've got Tommy Lee, we've got Gilby Clarke and we've got Jason Newsted, we just need a lead singer. Dave and Brooke Burke will be back along with a rotating panel of guest judges to go with our new band.

Ooooh, I definitely want to watch this.

Okay, since "The One" post got hung up on this show and people didn't like that, I'm bringing this thread back to life.

Dilana is SO my favorite. :D

Is this the one they've been advertising where they actually perform, and live together, and cause all sorts of drama and emotional breakdowns?

I thought I would be addictedly watching this show like I was last season. However, they keep putting it up against either Last Comic Standing or So You Think You Can Dance. Was it like this last year? I can't remember. But I do feel like last summer there wasn't anything else I wanted to watch during the same time slot. This summer, I've been flipping back and forth between Rockstar and Last Comic Standing on Tuesdays and between Rockstar and So You Think You Can Dance on Wednesdays...and I usually end up with the tv on LCS or SYTYCD more than on Rockstar. I didn't really like Dilana at first. Her voice is so different than other female singers. It took some getting used to. The only ones that I even sorta like are maybe Dilana, Magni, and Toby. The rest are all kinda "eh, whatever". Zayra I cannot stand. I can't stand her voice. There's just something about it. When she did the Cranberries' "Zombie", that wasn't bad. But I feel like she sounded a little flat when she did The Kinks' "You Really Got Me" and Evanescence's "Bring Me To Life". Plus, it bugs me that my man proposed to her. :p

I don't think I can stand *any* of them this season, except for Jason Newsted and Gilby Clarke. Even so, I keep watching just in case.

When did Zayra do "Zombie?"

I didn't like Dilana at first- she scared me- but she's starting to really grow on me. I think she may be my favorite right now.

I can't stand Zayra. She just isn't right for this band and she got all bitchy when they tried to point that out to her. And, IMO, she sounds a LOT like Bjork (especially on REM's "Everybody Hurts") and that's just not my cup of tea. I wish she'd go home already.

I got it mixed up. Dilana did Zombie. I meant to say that Zayra's "Everybody Hurts" wasn't too bad.

Whatever her name is that sang Zombia, she ROCKED.

This season doesn't seem to be as good as last maybe its because INXS had really good songs. Now they sing whatever they want to on Wed. nite.

Dilana continues to impress me. And I like the punk guy with the crazy hair who also continues to rock it out. Storm Large also took me by suprise this week. I'll really be interested in seeing who they pick in the end.

And some of these kids, yeah they're good singers and can have a career outside of the band, but they SO don't fit the guys AT all! And I can't believe that kept that girl again...

What I don't get....Zayra (or whatever) is SO bad. She sounds like some random person off the street that can't sing. My daughter heard her in the other room and said "what are you watching, that sounds horrible!" WHY do they keep her???? I haven't heard her sound good on any song she has done.

I still don't really like any of the hamsters but Dana, and she's just not roit for OB:Supernova at all.

I think it is "Zah-EE-rah," and Brooke is just overdoing it on the Spanish accent. "Z" in Spanish is pronounced like "S" and R's are always rolled... so when us Americans try to pronounce it, it can come out sounding more like a "D" than a rolled "R."

Loved the guy with the piano tonight. Ryan Starr (so the name of the AIdol chick a few seasons back). I think he may get the encore tomorrow.

Dilana again a favorite. And liking Storm Large again too...

I never watched NXS, but I really dig this show. I like that it's not so clean cut like AI and the band guys and Dave are awesome. :)

Ryan Star was awesome this week, and he never caught my attention before. I so wish that Zayra had been in the bottom 3 because I think she might have finally gotten kicked off. I was sad to see Dana go, even though I know she isn't right for the band.

I wish Zayra was too!!

And yeah, Dana's sweet and I loved watching her, but totally not right...

Can't believe Lucas didn't make the bottom 3 after his performance though. Even he knew he deserved it. Crazy.

Dana wasn't at all right for RS:SN, but I thought she was the best of the bottom 3 last night. I'll miss her, darn it.

I keep liking Ryan more and more each week. He's really doing much better.

All the 3girls listed in the bottom 3 at the end tonight were my least favorites, and I'd be fine with any one of them leaving because none of them have a shot at the band IMO.

What the heck was Zayra wearing last night? All I could think of was "Oscar".

Jill AND that other dude left. I couldn't believe Ryan was in the bottom 3 this week. I know he totally switched it up from the amazing piano playing the week before, but I was still into it. Glad they kept him around.

I can't imagine 1/2 the people actually in their band though. Heck, I can't imagine but like 2 or 3 tops.

When Josh left last night and said something like "I knew I was a different vibe than you guys," I realized that a lot of these people like Ryan, Josh, and hopefully Magni don't ever intend to be in THEIR band, but probably use this to jumpstart a career in another way. I mean all 3 of them have great voices and are very talented, but they don't really belong with Supernova.

Haha, those were the only 3 I thought could be in Supernova as well. And Lukas feels more like emo/alternative to me and Storm needs more of an edge.

And you're right about Jason, he's totally the dork of the group. :p

I totally agree that Lukas seems like he'd be much better suited for an emo band. I don't think Storm could really pull off a really dark, heavy song. And so what if Jason is a dork or looks like an accountant...he would make for the hottest dorky accountant. ;)

Glad Zayra's gone. She just wasn't right for Supernova.

I almost lost it when Magni was in B3. I loved his version of Starman and he's my favorite. Dilana still does nothing for me, and Lukas just annoys.

I didn't hate Lukas, but totally wanted Dilana to win. Too bad the guys prob didnt want a girl to front the band. Lukas was just too emo for the band to me. I dont know. I don't see it lasting.

Oh, I'm not happy at all about Lukas winning. Out of the top SIX, he was my LEAST favorite! I wanted Dilana to win, but I would have taken Magni, Toby, Ryan, or Storm over Lukas!! But whatever... he was obviously what Supernova wanted. Which, by the way, I heard they have to change their name.

Sounds like the band will actually be called "Rock Star: Supernova" due to the judge's ruling.

I'll happily go see The House Band and Special Guest Vocalists on the tour, heck, I'd sit through The Panic Channel as well. But I'm not sure that my Jason Newsted love could make me stay through a RS:S set with Lukas fronting.

Are you serious? That seems like such a dumb name for a band. I'm surprised they wouldn't rather just change it than have the band called Rock Star: Supernova.

Agreed. But then again, I don't think this one will be lasting regardless of the band's name.

I still say bring on Rock Star: Van Halen!
