Gimme your workout playlist

Please give me your workout playlist. Chances are I will probably have those songs. If not, I'll just DL them.

I'll name that playlist after your GC sn while I be like a lab rat and run on the treadmil.

mulattogyrl 03-03-2006 12:46 PM

1 and 2 and 3 and 4 and get them sit ups right and
Tuck your tummy tight and do your crunches like this
Give head, stop breathe, get up, check your weave

anything by little john... and them east side boys

KSigkid 03-03-2006 01:19 PM

When I bring my IPod or headphones, I listen to either Mighty Mighty Bosstones or Less than Jake while I'm working out.

My gym has a music system, though, so I usually just listen to that. The cardio machines have TVs hooked up to all the cable stations, so I'll turn on ESPN while I'm running or using the elliptical.

Rudey 03-03-2006 01:21 PM

Anything from Journey and Styx.

This is gonna sound gay, but when I do cardio I listen to either dance or techno. I pace my stride to the beat of the music, helps me zone in.

georgewallace3 03-03-2006 08:06 PM

I like a little Burt Baccarach, followed by Cat Stevens and Carole King. Top it off with some James Taylor and Teddy Pendergrass

BobbyTheDon 03-03-2006 08:10 PM

Ahh young grasshopper, where there is no treadmill, there can be no boredom!!!! (and that's why I have some more angry stuff set in there...raise the heart rate to Zone 2, then bring it back, then raise it again, then let it back...plus some of the stuff has great beat to match cadence with).

I can't stand the treadmill...I don't care if it IS freezing here in Belfast, I'll take my run by Belfast Lough over staring at a wall for an hour. I need to feel the ground under my feet, and get used to pounding the concrete.

This is what I get to pass every day:

err...yep, sorry!! Stupid of me.

Op Ivy-Unity
and
The Code-Unity

are the same song, by 2 different bands. The Code are a Pittsburgh based band that sound a LOT like op-ivy, but with a Pittsburgh twist. They toured with the Suicide machines for a while...nice guys too.

AnonAlumna 03-04-2006 08:59 PM

Okay, that link I gave you wasn't working (not that you checked it out) here's another: http://www.zaycev.net/pages/111/11109.shtml

Now...the page is completely in Russian text, but you will find a link that looks like this: [mp3] next to a few other choices. Right click, save as, and POOF. You have a 6.18MB mp3 file with the full song! Actual song is 4m30s long.

If it still doesn't work, PM me and I'll email the song to you. PiKA2001, this would definitely be a song for you.

georgewallace3 03-05-2006 06:42 PM
