why can't i find a nice girl?
last weekend, i met an amazing girl at a party her sorority was having. we talked, danced, drank, and kissed. what i feel as chemistry, she probably feels as routine. this weekend, i saw her repeating the same motions with another guy at another party. what's the deal with sorority girls?

Well, to be honest, I wouldn't want to date someone who thinks sorority girls are sluts (like you posted in that link there)...she probably doesn't, either.

I don't see what's so "not nice" about her behavior. Nowhere did he say that he asked for her number, or called her, or asked her to hang out again. What's she supposed to do, wait for him when he hasn't expressed any further interest? I'd be doing the same thing.
And wow, if dancing and kissing make someone a slut, then I'm pretty promiscuous. |
You don't meet your dream girl via a drunken gyration on the dance floor at a fraternity party.
Ok, some people do, but it isn't the norm. If you'd expressed interest in seeing her by getting her number or making plans, then perhaps your intent would be known. Without articulating your interest, she's in the dark, and like any boy or girl your age, chalk it up to having fun at the party. Next time, try meeting a girl without booze on your brain and don't kiss until you've been on a proper date. |
If you can't meet someone "nice" of the opposite gender, it's probably because you're not "nice" yourself. I mean seriously, look at all the women who say that guys are assholes or there are no good guys -- they have ISSUES.

Basically you have fun with sorority girls, but you never date or marry them.
After being around sorority girls for four years, that's my conclusion. |

and why does it have to be "what's the deal with sorority girls?" if it had been you doing what she did in this scenario, there would be just as many ppl on here saying "well that's a (frat) guy for you." sounds like she learned the game and is playing it well. burns, huh? |
There is wisdom here.

Forget nice girls. The bad girls are the real keepers. Even if only for Fridays...
It's win/win budday! Honestly though, it was your bad on not following up with this young lady friend. Had you made it apparent that you wanted more from her you could have had it. |
You're all gay.

Arranged marriages are a big problem in my community, man, well it's a problem if you want it to be a problem. I mean, It's a problem for me! My mom tried it on me last year. My mom goes, (in thick Indian accent) ‘Russell, you are getting older now, and you're not married. What if I bring some nice girls home for you?' I said, ‘Ma, I bring nice girls home all the time, they just leave in the morning, that's a nice girl right there.' |
HAHAHA. I hope you actually said that to your mom.
That said, maybe it's too bad I'm not from a family culturally predisposed to an arranged marriage. It'd probably save me a lot of time! My family's pretty close - they'd probably be able to pick out someone pretty high quality. Of course, I'd hold veto power. Actually, let me rethink that. They think my 28 year old friend from college who's never kissed a girl is a GREAT catch. |
