Ok, so our board has been a little sleepy lately. SOOOO. . .who else is totally obsessed with Grey's Anatomy besides me. . .AND what did you think about this week's episode?

I used to be totally into the show. But then I saw the star on Punk'd and she was such an total biatch that I can't stand to watch the show for more than a few minutes at a time now. :( I'm trying to get over it. Patrick Dempsey ::swoon:: has to make up for her behavior!

I'm getting irritated w/the pace of the show. It's like LOST in that they hook us in & then go off air for a few weeks. So maddening! :mad:

I could not agree more! The season finale was not the same for me after seeing Ellen Pompeo on Punk'd. I kept picturing her saying her lines with her northeastern accent (no offense to our friends to the east) the entire time, and how her tender side seems to be really good acting.

The ending did leave you hanging. Who will she choose?

I think she's going to choose Finn but dump him by the middle of Season 3. McDreamy is going to stay w/Addison but she'll dump him after she learns that he cheated on her during the prom. At some point, McSteamy is going to return as well...at least I hope.

Never caught on to this show. I'm a huge House fan though. And Hugh Laurie could totally take Patrick Dempsey.

Ditto! It seems to go either way...you like House or you like Grey's Anatomy. From what I hear though, Grey's Anatomy sounds just like a night-time soap opera. I don't like that crap during the day! :) Yay for House!

Season 2 on DVD this coming Tuesday! When does Season 3 come back to TV?

I'm so obsessed with Grey's it's unhealthy! ;) Season 2 DVD comes out the 12th, and Season 3 starts on the 21st. Two weeks! :)

I feel ya! I'm hoping & praying that McSteamy does come back this season. He's just YUMMY!

I'm a second-year medical student, and I have trouble watching Grey's because I can't figure out where surgical interns are finding the time to have all that sex! :D I love House, though. A guy in my study group was assigned to the clinic last semester, and overheard a fourth-year asking one of the docs if he watched ER. The doc replied, in all seriousness, "Patients watch ER. Doctors watch House." It's true, too; House is the embodiment of that enraged little voice in all of us that we usually don't express for fear of, y'know, being sued and stuff.

YES!!! Tonight is the season premier of Grey's Anatomy... can't wait to find out how it begins after that last cliffhanger!!!

I think she'll end up choosing McVet but then dumping him a few episodes later.

I don't really care what happens, I'm just so damn excited!

i'm a little conflicted about this episode. parts of it were awesome, i totally heart mcdreamy. other parts were like eh, didn't need that.

I'm also not crazy about the season premier. I didn't really like the flashbacks to when they all met... seemed a little cheesy. And the plague thing...? It was nice to see them all back though!!!

I loved the flashbacks! Especially because I noticed all of the little details about how McDreamy was wearing his "lucky red shirt" at the bar when he met Meredith for the first time. And I loved seeing him kick Addison out of the house once he found out she was cheating on him.

I adored this episode, actually. :)

So there was an error in Canada & they watched next week's episode instead of the premiere. I've got the spoilers if anyone wants them.

Basically: the Chief is living in his office. Hypocritically, when he discovers Callie's been living in the basement, he kicks her out. Meredith's underwear ends up on a bulletin board at the hospital, and when Bailey freaks, Callie claims it as her own to save Meredith the chewing-out. George thinks she's sleeping around, and becomes jealous. Izzie bakes a fuckload of muffins. Bailey has A Moment with the parent of a patient, and then goes to apologise to Izzie and ask that she come back to work. Emmett from QAF:US has a brain tumour that leaves him with no internal monologue. Burke's parents show up, and his mother gives great affront (and massive insecurity) to Cristina. Alex has sex with a patient. Meredith agonises over choosing between Chris O'Donnell and Derek, then flips a coin and decides to date them both. Addison gets really really drunk and has sex with McSteamy, which makes Derek write her off in a scene that made me hate him EVEN MORE THAN I ALREADY DID.

Looks like McDreamy & Dr. Burke don't like each other outside of the show. Interesting...

This whole ferry boat accident episode was just bleh IMO. I was thinking it was going to be something more exciting or dramatic. The only part of it that I like so far was the chief with the new hair. I also loved Addison's response to the three who were teasing him.

I love Addison. She's just awesome.

Meredith isn't going to die. She'll likely linger in a coma for a while & them miraculously wake up. LAME!
