Important: Passing of Soror Marjorie H. Parker, 15th Supreme Basileus
It is with great sadness and sorrow that I inform everyone that Soror Marjorie H. Parker passed away. More details to come on exactly when she passed. She was our Sorority's Great Historian and 15th Supreme Basileus (1958-1962). She will definitely be missed.

One of my chapter Sorors just now sent to the chapter an e-mail about her memories of Soror Parker:
Soror Marjorie H. Parker, our 15th Supreme Basilus, was a brilliant , dedicated, and warm hearted educator. We will all miss her; she was the faculty sponsor of Beta Lambda, the Chapter where I crossed the burning sands a long time ago (smile). |

Sorors, the footprints of greatness have led the way so let's hold up our light and always step in the SPIRIT. To have been in the same sisterhood and in the same life span as Soror Parker, I am honored! |

I offer my sympathies to the women of AKA on the death of former Supreme Basileus, Mrs. Parker. She was also the widow of Judge J. Barrington Parker, an Omega man, made at Beta chapter, Lincoln Univ(PA).
