Brangelina expecting

Seems that it has been confirmed that Angelina Jolie is pregnant with Brad's baby.

Any bets on whether this will be another Jolie-Pitt, or are they going to just let the baby have Pitt?

I'm voting for Jolie-Pitt, as it looks like they are attempting to make themselves as messed up as possible.

How are they messed up?

honeychile 01-11-2006 11:08 AM

Uh, huh... And Angelina didn't have anything to do with the break up of Brad & Jennifer...

(I just won a $20 bet on this one!)

Also, how is giving the kid a hyphenated name related to being messed up?

I was thinking the same thing, honeychile.

Super gross.

I wonder if this means that those rumors were true . . . . you know, about Jennifer Aniston calling Brad to wish him a merry Christmas only to have Angelina answer his phone and tell Jen that she's having Brad's baby?

Dayum. That's messed up.

KillarneyRose 01-11-2006 02:47 PM

I think Brad is an incredibly hot man
I think Angelina is absolutely gorgeous

So why does the thought of those two having sex squick me out????

ZTAngel 01-11-2006 03:02 PM

I just can't get over that she wore a vile of Billy Bob's blood around her neck. It creeps me out.

uksparkle 01-11-2006 03:04 PM

I always think that she's cool like her character in Mr. & Mrs. Smith but then I remember that in real life she's kind of weird.

Maybe because she's also slept with Billy Bob Thornton? That's enough to give me the willies!

I wouldn't put anything past that woman. I've said it before and I'll say it again: Angelina Jolie ain't nothin' but a trashy homewrecker. :p

ambición6 01-11-2006 03:24 PM

yeah, homewrecker  because it's always the woman's fault right?

She is a homewrecker.

And Brad's also at fault for giving in to the homewrecker.

AznSAE 01-11-2006 03:50 PM

i heard on the radio one time that anjelina said she would not have kids of her own because that it was the most selfish thing she could ever do when there are millions of kids out there without a home.

ACK!! I had not heard about that!! That's about the crudest thing I've heard in a LONG while!!

Right on the money on this one, too!

They say that hell hath no fury as a woman scorned - which makes Jennifer's reaction all the more incredible! I have a lot of respect for her behavior!

I didn't say that.

It takes two to tango, and Brad is guilty as well. Honestly, I think they're both trashy. She knew he was married, though, and she could have said no to a relationship. She didn't and that's why she is a homewrecker, same as Brad.

If her and Brad start doing that they should be locked up.

I don't understand calling her a homewrecker, either. Brad is the homewrecker.

sugar and spice 01-11-2006 05:06 PM

I don't think anyone can prove that anything happened between Brad and Angelina before he and Jennifer decided to separate. At least not at this point -- did I miss something? So I'm not sure you can necessarily call her a homewrecker . . . Still, their behavior was pretty shady.

I blame Brad. ;)

Angelina not only said that she would never have biological kids, she also said she'd never get involved with a married man . . . so it looks like she's batting a thousand here.

I don't think either one are homewreckers. While Jen can deny the kids issue not being the reason for the demise of their marriage, it's so clear from him spending time with Angelina's son, going with her to get her daughter, wanting to adopt them and now expecting his own that he wanted kids. They had different priorities and it's sad because it seems they got married in hopes of being on the same level at some point but it never happened. So he became attracted to a woman who possessed a quality he was looking for-being a mother.

SapphireSphinx9 01-11-2006 05:12 PM

on the way to work this morning, the dj's were talking about hot this kid is/isn't going to be and said:
"what if the baby came out looking like billy-bob?!" LOL :p

btw, is angelina still with her girlfriend?

Jen has stated over and over that she wants kids and would love to have within the next year, so I doubt kids are the issue.

Technically, wouldn't becoming attracted to a woman who possessed a quality he liked that allegedly was lacking in his wife (and doesn't Jen want kids anyway?) and then dumping his wife be considered wrecking a home?

For the record, I'd never use the term "homewrecker" on my own because I think it's stupid, as is blaming someone not in a marriage for breaking up said marriage.

dzrose93 01-11-2006 05:49 PM

I guess we'll all just have to agree to disagree on the whole "homewrecker" thing. ;)

The way I look at it is this: if someone knows that another someone is married and they engage in an intimate relationship with that person, then they are hurting that person's marriage (i.e., wrecking the home). The married person engaging in the adulterous activity is also wrecking the home. They are both guilty. They are both homewreckers.

However, if the unmarried person is unaware that the other person is married, then he/she is not guity. He/she is a victim as is the unwitting spouse.

If a home wasn't built on a good foundation, it was faulty from the start and there's nothing to wreck. I don't think they were truthful from the beginning. Jen may want kids albeit 5 years from now, while Brad wanted them 5 seconds ago. They still aren't on the same level. Unlike compromising on keeping the toilet seat down; compromising on kids, a life-long and life-altering event, isn't that easy. So the marriage was going end.

If the roles were reversed, I doubt there'd be this backlash.

I understand what you're saying, sort of -- but do you think that when people get married, they both know exactly when they're going to want kids? I'm not necessarily pro-marriage, but isn't he being a little bitch if he dumped Jen because he couldn't get the kids he wanted RIGHT NOW THIS VERY SECOND?

I kind of think that the whole Brad/Jen/Angelina thing has become some sort of jacked up symbol to people. All the pure, good-hearted women of America want to relate to poor Jen and it makes them feel better to cry for her and villanize Angelina. I don't really get it. It's like Angelina is the object of every woman's insecurity.

Heh. Truth.

But you have to keep in mind that Angelina was never really well-liked before this (at least not among anyone besides 15-year-old goth girls), and that Jennifer and Brad were one of the most "popular" Hollywood couples -- that only makes it worse. And it probably helps that Jennifer has been pretty gracious across the board.

That said, she's mentioned that she's pretty sick of feeling like "America's victim" and that she's moved on, so I think we all can too -- haha.

Both are egotistical Twits whose Self Importance is underwhelming!

If they were not in movies, they would be a waitress in a Diner and a Mechanic.
