Coach Janky Spanky

In this thread, we appreciate Clinton Portis.

Coach Janky Spanky! And more!

Portis claims that Coach Janky Spanky took the Boys and Girls Club to the Super Bowl.

Someone asks a question about Portis’ mom, and Portis — swear to God — blows his whistle. “Don’t ask about Portis’ mom, she’s bad, she’s tough, she’s a tough one.” To illustrated what happened in Philadelphia’s stands with his mother, he draws an “O” on his clipboard and then punches it.
Uncontrollable LOLs.

I got a friend with a pole in his basement.

Clinton Portis is WILD. But amusing and funny, because there's none of the Terrell Eldorado Owens malevolence about it.

I think I like Southeast Jerome better.

Saw part of this on the news last night. Funny stuff. Why didn't he do this stuff in Denver?

Chris Cooley as "Johnny White Guy", plus my second favorite Hawk from Blue Springs, MO as "Sweet Feet Jenkins" nearly had me pissing my pants - absolutely beautiful

Absolutely hilarious - he's now one of my favorite players, and I'm a Giants fan. That tells you something.

I'm an Eagles fan but I'd do him.

Ok, I just caught that he did "2 Legit 2 Quit" from the old MC Hammer days....

And I agree...Clinton Portis is a cutie...

When Arrington picked off that Simms pass and then Portis got the resulting touchdown, my heart skipped a beat. I love them both and I'm so bummed out that LaVar probably won't be around next season.

Lil' Hannah 01-09-2006 09:46 AM

Jesus look at this man, he's much more doable. But alas, this is not his thread.

It'll SUUUUCK for you guys (but obv not for me) when LaVar takes his chess room and signs with the Eagles, who could use some LB help . . . then works his ass off to get into shape . . . it'll be fantastic

KSigkid 01-09-2006 11:44 AM

After the Giants debacle, I'm going to hold off talking about football for a couple of days...

There was a good article in the Post (registration required) on December 30 about Arrington's fight with Dale Lindsey after the Giants game and the way management been treated him this year.

Quote:

What a fitting send-off for Arrington, the guy who carried Daniel Snyder's banner during the lean years. Beautiful. Way to emotionally beat down a proud, sentimental veteran whose only real character flaw was that he stubbornly believed enough in this organization to want to retire here.
...
Hampered by injury and the lack of confidence his coaches have in him, Arrington rarely plays on third and fourth downs anymore. On many Sunday afternoons, when the opposing offense is facing a third and long, Arrington sits. Never mind that he is bigger and faster than Fred Dean was lining up at defensive end for the great 49ers teams of the 1980s, Arrington's pass-rushing skills are somehow deemed too insignificant to help a blitzing, aggressive defense.

It made absolutely no sense to me the way the Redskins played Arrington this year. It's one of the most blatant attempts to run a guy out of town that I've seen in a while.

I'm going to enjoy rooting for this PSU alum when he comes to Philly. I've met him a couple times up here at PSU btw.
