Janice getting a new show on Oxygen (Hollywood Reporter)
 

LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - Oxygen has given the green light to a reality series that follows former "America's Next Top Model" judge Janice Dickinson as she starts a Hollywood modeling agency.

Juggling motherhood and business, Dickinson whittles down more than 500 aspiring models to five finalists, who will become the first to be signed by her agency. Tentatively titled "The Janice Dickinson Project," the 10-episode series is set to debut on the cable network in the spring.

"She's starting a new business with all its challenges while trying to be a good mom and guide new models through a tough business," said Oxygen president of programming Debby Beece. "It's a balancing act for her -- and it's fascinating to watch her as she goes through it."

Dickinson was a judge on the first four installments of UPN's Tyra Banks-hosted competition series "Top Model." She also was a cast member on VH1's reality series "The Surreal Life."

After this most current cycle, I have given up on Tyra 'nem and I need something to replace it.

This is gonna be a mess. And I'll be right there to watch it unravel.

The commercial I saw showed Janice telling a girl her nose is too bulbous.:eek: :o

As an Assistant hall director/GA part of my assistantship is that I live in campus housing :rolleyes:
Anyway the cable is specialized for the university, it has over 80 channels unfortunetly none of them is Oxygen. I usually have to go over my friends' house to watch it on TiVo.:(

As much as the reality TV thing gets on my nerves...I'm sure once I see an episode I'll want to see more. :p

I will definitely be watching this...she's rough but that incident between her and Omarosa on the Surreal Life was crazy...This show is bound to have drama...

I agree with RBL about Janice's son.

But I would like to borrow the black guy with the six pack and the earrings in both ears (not the skinny one for NO).:D A lot of those guys were cute!

After the 11 pm showing Janice was on Tyra talking to some therpist about her father, who was abusive to her. They (Janice and Tyra) said they still get along and they hugging each other. Maybe she left ANTM to start the agency.:confused:

Does anyone still watch this show (besides me)? The second season started a few weeks ago.

Nathan's gotten better but Peter (her partner) is a @$$hole. The models like Janice, but can't stand Peter.

Yes, I just watched the latest episode last night . . .the one where her son tries to put together one of his 1st events at a boxing event. Last night I found it funny that the male model who happens to be gay, had to do a similar shoot that the girls in ANTM had to do. The one where the girls had to float in the pool and pose @ the same time. Only he had help on floating cause Janice got in there and held his legs up so he could focus on the pictures. Tyra could have been just as helpful.

Side note, I wanted to model, but I realize that people like Janice would say that I'm "too fat" :rolleyes: Now mind you, I still wear a size 11 in junior jeans and like Tryra am 5'11 and about her weight (I still won't say:p ) so I can't do "plus size" besause I'm still slim but a little too thick for high fashion. I guess I'll just waste my height untill I attract that dream tall husband and start having those tall beautiful kids :D
