If the Bears win tomorrow they clinch the NFC North division AND a first-round bye! (Thanks to the Panthers and Giants for losing today.)

That would be a Happy Hanukkah and a Merry Christmas for Bears fans. ;)

I would die of happiness if the Broncos and Bears played each other in the Super Bowl. Seriously.

I'm going to be on the Broncos site every day waiting for playoff tickets to go on sale. I can't wait.

And that's exactly what happened, although the Packers did make it interesting.

Congratulations to the NFC North Champion Bears! :D

OMG totally freaked out when Olin went down and everyone thought he was seriously hurt. Thank God he's not!

I guess Kalama Valley will just have to wait for he and Wendi and the boys to come home!

YAY for the Bears!

kansas13 12-26-2005 01:04 AM

OMG, the Bears were totally giving me a heart attack at the end of that game...I thought they were totally going to lose it!! Thank God for those two blitzes or I would have been a goner!!

GO BEARS!!!

USCTKE 12-26-2005 12:38 PM

I just hope my Cowboys can sneak into the playoffs...those games we blew in the 4th quarter are coming back to bite us in the @$$ now.

Then again what about the miracle in Philly?;)

My eagles really suck this year:(

KSigkid 12-27-2005 10:02 AM

I'm glad the Giants blew that game against Washington - it would have been rough getting the first-round bye so quickly.

I'm glad that Philly has the opportunity to help Dallas make the playoffs if they beat Washington.

Quite the dilema.... root for Philly to win or have them lose for draft pick purposes and screw Dallas:D

Tom Brady 13

Denver Broncos advance to the AFC Championship game!

Don't fool yourself - the Pats scored all those points, even the Broncos' . . .

Denver will be a 3-pt dog next week no matter who they play, and I will give the points, because the Broncos will get worked.

CSUSigEp 01-15-2006 05:13 PM

are you kidding me?! anyone just see that fumble on the goalline by Bettis?

docetboy 01-15-2006 05:23 PM

STEELERS (barely) WIN!!!

The Denver Broncos will host the AFC Championship Game!!!

That was Jerome's FIRST fumble in his professional career.

Most of us can't say that, but we can say

HERE WE GO, STEELERS, HERE WE GO!!!!!!! :D

RedAngel 01-15-2006 09:53 PM

Seattle will play Carolina.
Go Seahawks!

Duchovnysfan 01-15-2006 09:54 PM

oh boo, the Patriots lost! The Colts lost as well but they are so overrated, I mean every year they do well but they just seem to fall short every year, sucks to be them......

So this Super Bowl is looking to be very interesting....

FWIW, Yahoo's take on the playoffs favor the Steelers & the Panthers: here.

tinydancer 01-15-2006 10:54 PM

Everybody I rooted for lost!:(

That must be the reason I don't make the big bucks betting on football.

It was his first fumble of the season. Not his professional career. When he played out here (L.A. Rams) he use to fumble all the time.

BobbyTheDon 01-16-2006 12:02 AM

My prediction is Denver vs the Panthers in the SB.

My bad. I still bleed black & gold! My daddy had a heart attack during a Steelers game & wouldn't go to the hospital until halftime!

Hey i don't want to speculate anything, but is it me or did Dungy look really pale? :(

valkyrie 01-16-2006 12:07 PM

Now y'all are talking about the Broncos. Bah. Shannon Sharpe was the only one giving them any love before the glorious ass-kicking of the Pats. Oh man that game was SWEET. I couldn't talk the next day from hours of screaming. Insane.

Broncos and Panthers in the Super Bowl.

I have to say that he did look pale - but look what he's been through lately. I sincerely doubt that you can go through the suicide of your son and come out of it smelling like roses.

That was the part that wasn't great about the win - hurting Tony.

Hope so. Gotta get by Pittsburgh first, though. I think they will in Mile High, but it's not a given by any means.

Joey Porter says the refs tried to cheat them

I have to agree there were some really, REALLY REALLY SHITTY CALLS against the Steelers.

Oh btw. u guys know Joey Porter also got shot in the ass right?

Thrillhouse 01-16-2006 07:25 PM

Peyton and Eli have something else in common now, one and done.

Good for him and I can't say I disagree. Those refs were as far up Peyton Manning's ass as the press is up Tom Brady's. AHHAHAHAHAHA LOSERS.

I'm with you dude. The Steelers kept getting hosed in that game. It sucked. But they just kept playing. Kept being aggressive. I swear, Bill Cohwer is the most bad ass coach in the NFL. He never has the most talent, but the man can flatout coach.
