AHHHQHQHD:FNCIO:CNDI:OUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm still waiting to find out!! I"ll let you know as soon as I know! |
Here's what I know:
44 went through Alpha ceremony today! There are several others who are going through on Monday who couldn't do it today b/c of scheduling conflicts. I've heard 2 different #s for quota- 48 and 54. I am thinking that 54 includes juniors possibly? But everyone I talk to has a slightly different angle on that quota number. Wooo-Hoooo!!!! I'll PM you some more details, Shannon! |
Forty-Four??? With more on Monday?!?!?! That's a HUGE improvement, isn't it?
|
FORTY FOUR?! 44?!
Ok, I think I'm going to pass out. |

OMG!!! HOW EXCITING!!!!!!!!! :D :D :D

Hurray! Hurray! I know they were quite excited about the returns rate for the first day of invitational partys when I helped out on Wednesday. Holly, the chapter advisor was very optimistic. Looks like they did it! Can't wait to hear the official results.

Looks like our adpi*nurse did something wonderful - and we're all VERY proud of you!! <> |
I didn't do anything. The only thing I did was help tally for the Baylor girls in the back room on Wednesday. Honey- are you confused?

I'm also trying to decide whether or not to buy a major party dress when I no longer can demand a fiance to take me somewhere (but the dress is winning!). |
I am soooooo proud of them! They really are a bunch of classy sisters who have their priorities straight.
When I work with chapters I always ask myself if I would want my daughter pledging at that school. At Baylor, the answer is a resounding YES!!!! |
Alrighty girls, the final count is 48 Alphas...I believe they bid matched 45 and 3 more accepted snap bids. Quota was 54. I am actually in tears. The pledge class after me was the last real big one (about 30) and this is an amazing turn around. They have now more than doubled the size of the chapter. We should be sitting around 90 or so right now. Oh man. I remember a TCC telling me once to not be discouraged because once you really start working on recruitment and trying to make a turn around it might take a few years to see the fruits of your labor. Unfortuantely this old RVP/Rush nazi never got to see these kind of results in person but I'm so proud of my chapter. GO BAYLOR ADPI!
|
Congrats and Violets!!!!
A huge congratulations to the Baylor sisters and violets to all sisters who support the chapter. It sounds like there was a lot of hard work and a wonderful result!
|
I'm so happy for them!!! This could be the big turn-around moment for them (having experienced the same thing)!!
Good work, Zeta Chi!!! |
I'm so happy for those ladies! What a turn around! Wow!!!
|
Woooohooo! Congrats to Baylor!
Eta Epsilon at Miami University is halfway done with recruitment, and we are receiving AMAZING return rates! It looks as if quota will be between 35 and 43. |
Yea Miami!! Good luck with the rest of recruitment! Way to go for good return rates!
|
Wow!! Looking good, ladies!! Good luck with Miami of Ohio, ADqtPiMel!!!
|
Oh oh they just posted pictures in our alumni yahoo group! They are sooooooooooooo cute!!
{Still beaming with pride!!!} |

|
Congratulations to our Eta Beta New Members!! That has to be close to quota for Allegheny, isn't it?
|
yeah, quota was 15 this spring. i haven't spoken to anyone since bid day, i'm guessing they'll COR within the next week, if they haven't already, to complete the new member class.
|
Any numbers for Boston U?

Mark down Gamma Theta- Mount Union- with 10 new Alphas! We took quota of course! Yes- I am aware quota was very low- tough week! But the problem was not women dropping out- it was an original sign up of 40 women!!!!!!
ETA: We are above total with 69 chapter members! (65 is total) |
Gamma Pi, Wagner College, has 10 new Alphas!! Ten was quota and we have 5 more to go to reach Total (45). We've got 6 PNMs we love, so hoping that one Delta Member Cancellation comes thru so we can bid all 6. (I know, how horrible to wish one member cancelled to pick up a new member, but it was a voluntary cancellation that we'd tried for a year to prevent, so if that's her decision, why should the chapter suffer below Total?)

I just got a newsletter from Alpha Iota, and they are at Total! Please forgive me for being so proud of them, but between them and the new Alumnae Association, it's as if both are using a check list, and making sure they complete everything for Diamond Four Point! I like to think that I helped with that, since I dropped the comment that we had always gotten Diamond Four Point; our surprise was always if we took anything else! :D |
I am *so* proud of my little sisters! They really worked their tails off. I've held almost every Advisor hat at one time, including Recruitment and Chapter advisors, but this year I was *so* involved with Recruitment (practice makes better - or is it age?) that I had to stick around to see if all the women accepted their bids. I had to leave to pick up my cat (I'll post in ADPi Pets) and was seriously stressed out all day b/c I couldn't get anyone on the phone to tell me they filled quota!!! (OK, now we gotta COR to Total!)

Does anyone have Zeta Chi's mailing address? I know it's a little late after recruitment, but I'd love to send them a nice card or something.
Also - does anyone know if Gamma Upsilon did/is doing spring informal? I know of a young lady going to school there that may be interested :) |
