Obsessed with Recruitment -- Spring 2006

Okay, now that my finals are over...

I've listed the chapters by school and by end date. This way you can find your alma mater and when the chapter close to you is holding recruitment (so you can volunteer to help out, of course!). I listed them by end date so you can see when results should be in.

There are a few schools with inconclusive info based on anchors online, the GC recruitment list and their own Panhel sites. Please help me fill those in (they are at the bottom of the dates list)!

For info on how to sponsor someone click here

If I need to make any corrections, please let me know. Good luck to all our wonderful chapters!

JohnsDGsweethrt 01-16-2006 08:45 PM

I'll try and get Lehigh's and Furman's numbers

deadbear80 01-17-2006 06:22 AM

I am trying to get word on what quota actually was, but I do know that the lovely DGs of Alpha Epsilon Chapter (Washington University in St. Louis) got 53 new members on Sunday!

dukedg 01-17-2006 02:57 PM

YAY so far our chapters that we have info on have both made quota!

We still need some or all info on the following chapters:
Indiana University
Lawrence University
Southern Methodist University ??/45
Spring Hill College
Butler University
Adelphi University
Ohio State University
Vanderbilt University
Washington University 53/??
Loyola Marymount University ??/49
Roanoke College
Villanova University
Lehigh University
Loyola University
Northwestern University

Also, please correct me if any of my findings thus far are wrong (for example, I took Duke's info from the Chronicle).

Thanks for feeding my recruitment addiction ladies :)

Please let me know if you have info about the following schools:
Indiana University
Adelphi University
The Ohio State University
Villanova University
Loyola University
Northwestern University

Also two questions:
1. Why would Lawrence vote on a quota that no one would meet? Or do they not do it that way?
2. Is Vandy's # typically so low? I know they are relatively new, but it seems really low :(

Just a short update from Eta Kappa's (NCSU) Spring COB. They wanted to pick up 10 more girls to bring them to total...they had 21 girls come to their COB opportunities and pledged 10 of them this past Friday!! :-)

JennRN 01-30-2006 10:27 AM

Woo hoo Eta Kappa!!
Good job ladies! :D

AngieWashU 01-30-2006 01:33 PM

21 girls coming to COB opportunities shows that the chapter is doing really well--especially by planning and publicizing their events well. Congratulations Eta Kappa!

WhiteDaisy128 01-30-2006 07:56 PM

Check out the UT Tyler women!! They are beautiful and I'm sure classy, smart, and fun!! Yay!!

This is off topic, but can I just say that I LOVE the super cute brown gauchos and gold belt on the girl in front?? I saw that pic in the Greek Life thread earlier today and loved them!! :D

dgdramadawg 01-30-2006 09:25 PM

ajuhdg 02-03-2006 10:33 AM

Hi, all! Wanted to drop by and say hello! I don't have much time now with two kids! LOL!

As some of you may or may not now, I'm an assistant technical rep for the RA program. I've just gotten started in it, and I've been working with some incredibly talented (and patient) alumnae! Last night, I got to really get into the action since I'll be working with Rho Chapter at Syracuse. They start recruitment tonight, and I (think) got them all set up for RA last night! I'll be going over tomorrow after the parties and see how things are going. I'm so excited to see how things work at a chapter TOTALLY different from my own! As of right now, they have 637 women signed up. There are 12 sororities that participate!

ADDG 02-03-2006 06:03 PM

More Results

Richmond Q 34, P 35
Willamette Q 19, P 17
Lake Forest Q 8, P 8
Rochester Q17, P 20
Rutgers Q 10, P 7 (have cob'd to quota)
Villanova Q 25, P 27
Boston Q 32, P 34

Late breaking news: UT-Tyler is at TOTAL!!!! which is 30. We are the only group to be at total. It looks like it only took us 3 days to COB 11 women!!

WhiteDaisy128 02-03-2006 06:22 PM

That is soooooo awesome about Tyler...starting off on the RIGHT foot there!

dukedg 02-05-2006 11:56 AM

hannahgirl 02-07-2006 11:27 PM

looks like Case got 24 awesome new members. I have yet to hear from my contact so I don't know what quota was or anything, but from helping out in the past, that number is very good!
