Need help with country song title
 

It's driving me crazy that I can't think of this song!!! I even emailed 2 different radio dj's but they were no help.

It's not Austin and not One More Time.

Anyway, it's a few years old and was an early hit for a male singer, lol.

He goes to the airport to watch his girlfriend fly west to visit someone....her mother??? Anyway, he realizes that he thought he heard a goodbye??? (sort of like she said it on the plane and he heard it on the ground.)

I'm not sure "goodbye" is in the title but it could be.

A Rascal Flatts song comes to mind (the video) but it doesn't have to do with goodbye.

Well, I was going to suggest cmt.com but they don't allow you to search for songs based on a word.

You could just go through their list of artists and see if something jogs your memory....:D

Awww, shucks. I'm telling you, try emailing Country Weekly, or hell, maybe even CMT. I used to watch CMT a lot, and they would always play some obscure stuff that never made it onto the radio.

I am also looking for a song. The quotes from the lyrics were in several of my sister's IM profiles, but have no idea where to start looking for it. (I had it saved on my old hard drive....) If I can think of any words, I will let you know.

Ooooh, I know that song! (I think I have it on CD, actually...) I liked it pretty well when it came out...I don't know why I didn't even think of it, but I guess I thought you meant the airplane thing was mentioned in the chorus. Duh!

Me neither and I thought I had at least heard of most country singers.

I'm pretty sure it's from the 90s sometime, because I quit listening to country several years ago after it started to suck. Mark Collie also had one other good song I can remember called "Born To Love You."
