I want to know, since I'm new, is there any other sweets in here? Diamonds, Doves, Angels, Pearls, Knights, etc?

Ok, I'll ask for clarification since I don't know what Diamonds, Angels, Knights, etc are (pardon my cluelessness) before I reach for the popcorn.

Are you saying you are a sweetheart (being the ONLY sweetheart for one chapter).

OR

Are you one person in a group of sweethearts?

(If the latter is the case, add extra butter on my popcorn!!!)

Some people join because they enjoy being a fraternity groupie...some people join because they think this is the first step in becoming a part of an NPHC sorority.

On a serious note, I've seen a couple sweethearts cross a NPHC sorority (one of the Omega Essences here just crossed Zeta Phi Beta this semester here). But overall, I don't get sweethearts and I probably never will.

And except for the Iotas, they are not supposed to exist.

Maybe I don't understand, and maybe I'm adding to your popcorn-need, but do NPHC's really want these girls to cross? I mean, I know that the process is completely different than that of NPC's, but I would think that you wouldn't want these girls? I just know when a couple of my NPHC friends went through it all, they studied and talked to alums and things like that... I would think it would be like one of us (NPC) catching a girl on a frat hall in the middle of rush...

So, from what I'm gathering, these are all (with the exception of Iota) Frat Rats who have given themselves a pretty nickname?

There's a HUGE difference b/w a woman of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and a Que Pearl. :D I would'nt dare put the 2 in the same category. That would be a severe diservice to y'all.
