Prison Break
I did a search & couldn't find a thread on this awesome show.
Does anyone else watch it? I absolutely love it & have been hooked since the beginning. |
I love this show! Not only is the show interesting, but Michael and Lincoln (aka John Doe) are great eye candy!
I think T-Bag is the one that's going to die next week. The show promised it would be a main character, and he's the only one who doesn't really have a reason to be in the breakout group (Michael and Linc are the show, John has connections, Westmoreland/DB Cooper has money, Sucre's the cellmate). |
I agree with you, I think it will be him who dies. He seems to be by far the most vile criminal of the group anyway, so I don't think anyone will be sorry that he is gone.
|
I find it hard to believe that T-Bag is going to be the one that dies mainly b/c yeah he's scum & an ass but that's what makes him so awesome to watch. I can't get over that he used to play a mild-mannered reporter on HBO's CARNIVALE before it was cancelled. My fiance had to point it out to me b/c it's such a departure. I love him!

I do love this show. And the brothers are freakin hot. :)

I don't think its TBag
See, I don't think TBag will die just because they showed a scened of him being pulled back by 2 others in the previews. They have been pretty good at being misleading in that respect.
I don't know who it will be though. Lincoln and Micheal have to go. DB Cooper has the money so he has to go, Abruzzi has the mob connections to get them out of the area so he will be useful. I don't see them getting rid of sucre since then tehy run the risk or michael getting a new cell mate. I don't know though something about the way the plot goes tells me it may be Abruzzi who dies. I don't think it will be done by any one in the know though. Maybe by the guy who he poked his eye out? That is my guess, him or the new guy who worked his way into the whole deal. The one who said "concrete is my specialty, can you dig it?" |
Re: I don't think its TBag
Good call, KP! ;)
TPTB keep throwing money wrenches in the escape plan. No Abruzzi means no escape plane...and Lincoln in the hole/shoe means no escape at all. I, personally, feel jipped that we didn't see some Wentworth Miller naked butt in the water room scene! :o |
Damn T-Bag. I knew that guy was a slimy shit but jeez. He's gone & killed the ride.

T-bag seriously disgusts me. He is just disturbingly evil. I figure something bad has to happen to him at some point.... I still just don't think the audience would be impressed with seeing the nastiest criminal of the group just walk off and be free. |
That was a sucky finale! Now we have to wait til March!
|
Damn! Damn! Damn! I missed the entire show last night b/c of my dang sister. Can anyone recap for me? Please???
|
Abruzzi was taken to chicago med center. STill alive.
Sucre, C note and the rest of teh group told Michael they were going through the hole with or without him. He was told there was no way to get Lincoln out of solitary so just to let it go. Michael thought it through and then agreed. Later in his cell he is seen taking something out from under his skin. He is then seen talking to a priest and crying. He asks the priest to give his brother a rosary from him. Priest agrees and goes to see lincoln. Lincoln looks at the rosary funny but takes it. Later he takes it apart and finds a pill and a note in there saying take me at 810. Lawyer chick goes public on what she knows and goes to see Lincoln telling him not to lose hope. She then meets with nice CIA guy and he trys to give her a list of names. Then bad CIA guy comes up so Lawyer chick hides and watches it all go down. Bad guy finds the list, and is mad that he was named so shoots nice CIA guy. CNote calls a buddy and aranges for him to be outside the prison at teh correct time with a cadialac escalade that will seat them all. Meanwhile, michael bursts a water pipe so they are on detail until it is fixed. All escapes are now in the guard room indefinately. At 815 Lincoln takes the pill, goes into convulsions and is rushed to the infirmary. At 9pm, all of them high five each other and go through the hole. They get into the storage room and realize that a maintenance guy has found the corroded pipe. It has been fixed. Michael can hear Lincoln in the infirmary and he can hear them below but they can't get to each other. Michael say's "I am so sorry guys, it can't be done" and TBag pulls a knife on him. They all rally together and try to break the pipe but it is too thick and won't break. That was pretty much the end, the end scenes are Michael saying Lincoln still has 12 hours to live and so do I ... To be continued in MARCH!!! |
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I can't wait until March. Dammit! Dammit! Dammit! |
Kunja gave a good review; only other thing is they made a lot of noise trying to tear the pipe down and I think a guard is heading their way.
|
Only a few more days before this show comes back. :D I love me some Wentworth Miller! ;)
|
Anyone tune in last night?
If they kill John Doe...err, I mean Lincoln...I think I'm going to have to stop watching! |

SigKap, here's the storyline in a nutshell...
Michael is an engineer who helped build the prison where is brother, Lincoln, is on death row for killing the VP's son (which we assume he didn't do). Michael committes a fake bank hold up to get sentenced to the same prison. He has the plans of the prison tattooed on his upper body and goes into the prison trying to break himself and his brother out. Lincoln's lawyer ex-GF, Veronica, is trying to get his sentence overturned. The rest is very complicated...The season was spent planning the escape and getting a "crew"/accomplices in on the plan (hijicks ensue), as well as Veronica's struggle against the FBI cover up. FX has been running marathons of the first half of the season. You might want to try to catch it. |
Leslie - thanks so much!!
so, the episode i watched the other night that was the one where his Michaels brother is going to the chair, .... didnt they do a flashback to where he says i didnt kill him, but yet we see Lincoln with the gun and the guy dead? BOOOO do we know anything about that? and how sad was his son on the phone, im assuming its his son, when he was getting ready to be led into the room. it was so horrible. :( good show though, wow. |

And yes, that was Lincoln's son L.J. on the phone. *** When Veronica was in court in last night's episode and the judge asked if they had more evidence, I kept yelling at the TV, "LJ's phone! LJ's phone!" L.J. has a picture on his camera phone of the Secret Service guy with a gun in his hand after the guy killed L.J.'s mom. |
Quote:
They don't have the phone anymore. Remember when he was being followed Veronica texted him to ditch the phone & meet them at a different bus depot? The Secret Service guys got the phone that was at a different bus. |
Bette, ahhhhh! I totally forgot that! Thanks for the refresher! ;)
|
Great eppy tonight...who was watching?
|
*wails*
It's not on here yet. Damn California for always being behind. Bah! |
So much happened! It was worth the three month wait, I think! :D
|
Sucre is definitely smart for thinking of getting the panties. Bellick is still an asshole w/his comment to Sucre that he sure had a beefer of a girlfriend.
Can I say that LJ is a freaking moron? |
LJ is really stupid! Now what's he gonna do - get sent to the prison himself? And Michael...what does he think he's gonna do in the pysch ward? How long does he think he's going to be able to fake being psycho? Does he think that the nurses won't notice him talking to the other inmates?
I LOVED the part where the guard lifted up the carpet in the room and nothing was there! |
Quote:
He's only in there to get the rest of the information from Haywire about the plans b/c Haywire had memorized his tattoo. I do agree though that he won't be able to fool the nurses for long unless they're stupid as hell. |

Michael and Sarah are going to KISS NEXT WEEK!!!
And John's baaaaaaaack!!! yeah! Who do you think sent the truck to crash into Lincoln's van? I'm wondering if it was his dad, Nick/Veronica, or Michael so he could escape? ...or "the company" or the vice president/secret service so he'd die? |
His dad was probably the truck driver.
What is going on with Nick and that guy? Is Nick going to sell out so that dude can kill Veronica or something? I don't know who that guy is, I missed some episodes last season. I love how next week Bellick gets to leave the prison to search for Lincoln. Like they let the prison guards go on a manhunt for him instead of, I don't know, the local sheriff's dept. Michael and Sarah better end up on a tropical island somewhere together by the time this show is over! |
I think the crash was intended to kill him.
|
I missed last night's episode! *wails*
Can someone clue me in to what happened until I can find a download somewhere later today? Please? |
Recap for anyone who missed - Long post!
Haywire ends up drawing the missing part of the tattoo, but makes Michael promise to let him in on the escape before he gives it to him.
The crew left in gen pop have to scheme because the guards are renting off Michael and Sucre's cell, since it's empty. One of the crew needs to get in there, because the prisoner that offers the most for the cell mentions to the guard Geary that the toilet is leaking, so Geary says he'll put in a work order. C Note tries to get some money from I guess his old gang (think I missed that part of last season), they end up beating him up. C Note and scary southern guy play poker with this Latino gang dude, and plan on cheating. Works pretty well til the last hand, then the deal gets messed up so their cheating is shot, but C Note bluffs his way through and wins. So they go up to Geary, and offer $500, he says he wants $700. C Note gets the old guy to give him a watch his wife had given him to give to Geary. Geary takes the cash and the watch and says too bad suckers. They're all really pissed. Back in the psych ward, Michael has what he needs, so he tries to talk Sarah into letting him out. She says the warden won't let him out until he tells who burned him. Some communications go on between Sucre and his cousin the laundry guy when cousin sees Michael's burn and puts it together with the burned uniform. He ends up getting in on the escape too, and tells the crew. They're pissed at first, but realize they need him to communicate with Sucre and Lincoln in the hole, and then Michael in the psych ward. So Michael ends up telling Warden that Geary was the one who burned him because he shakes cons down to get money and stuff off them. Warden goes in the guards locker room and finds the wad of cash and watch from C Note, and I guess in his laundry pile for the week, the laundry cousin had conveniently given him a guard's shirt that was all burned on the one sleeve. I guess he did a sloppy ironing job so they could use it to frame Geary. Geary gets kicked out on his ass. Veronica petitions for Lincoln to leave prison and go to the jail where LJ is. They grant it, and the end is him and several guards driving in this van through the countryside. They come to an intersection and are t-boned by a tractor trailer. Dun dun dun! Oh, and some shady stuff went on with the whole VP. The brunette chick and company stalks the one secret service dude, tells him he's fired. He goes to the VP and they decide there's 2 diff. agendas and they're gonna start taking matters into their own hands or something. I got a late start last season, so if anyone can fill me in on the whole shady VP stuff, I would appreciate it! I get that they framed Linc for shooting her brother...but why? And who are all of them? |
