Mounds bars.

Milk Duds or Sugar Daddies.

Reese's peanut butter cups.

My (much) elder brother always told me that I don't like Nestle's Crunch bars, and "would take care of them" for me. I actually believed him until just a couple years ago - dumb kid!!

Kit-kats

Butterfingers and Reese's cups. Somehow, both are better in the small size. (Must be the increased chocolate to peanut butter ratio.)

Candy Corn

Anything but those foam peanuts! hahaha

Nestles crunches are awesome... so are tootsie rolls. I guess I was most excited about Tootsie Roll Pops. :)

Beyond Snicker's and M&Ms, I was excited about all the gum I would get. I wasn't allowed to have gum until I was about 12.

Ditto on the candy corn. I also like those things that are basically candy corn but shaped like pumpkins.

EWWWWWWWWWWWW Candy Corn.......GROSS...you can have all mine!!! ugh! yuck!

Almond Joys...

Actually my favorite (cause I do go trick or treating with my sons :) ) is the house around the block that gives out full size hershey bars to the parents only!!! (gotta love a house like that!)

senusret, i loved those little pumpkins too(and the chocolate cats that came in the same bag)!!

my favorite trick or treat loot was mr. good bars or mounds.

ditto on the almond joys. growing up, i was one of very few kids that liked them, so i made out like a bandit b/c everyone gave me theirs

Sprees and Shock Tarts

Smarties...I'd always save those for last.

oh yeah, those are what you play doctor with... you use them for medication!

A little off topic, but I HATED those peanut butter kisses that were wrapped in orange or black wax paper. Eck. We couldn't even trade those. Straight to the trash.

I've never been a big candy person, but my favorites were Reese's Pieces or peanut butter cups.

those were horrible....those were the first things i picked out and threw away!

I don't have a favorite, I would pretty much just eat it all as soon as I could.

But my least favorites were bit-o-honeys. Too chewey.

These are my FAVORITE Halloween candies! I know, I know, I think I'm the only one...on the planet. :D

Now, I'm not saying they are my favorite candy, but since I can only get them at Halloween, they are my favorite holiday-specific candy!

I also ADORE the HUGE Reese's Peanut Butter cups shaped like Pumpkins (Christmas Trees, etc.)...

Mmmm, I love candy corn and those little pumpkins made of candy corn. When I studied abroad, I had to have someone send those to me. All my Australian friends thought they were bizarre.

My favorite is probably the kit kats as well.

You used to be able to get salted sunflower seeds in packets, they were fabulous. Great for pumpkin seed spitting wars. The homemade roasted pumpkin seeds just didnt have the right balance of seed to salt and texture. Ohterwise, indian corn (the candy corn with the chocolate top), reese's cups and the 100 grand bars, also called 100,000 bars back in my day. Ooh, and nutrageous bars. SOOOOO yum.

Bubble gum is always a favorite!
