Most Overrated Fast Food Restaurant
 

I would have to say Quizno's. Quizno's not all that great.

McDonalds. The only thing I will eat from there are Egg McMuffins, apple pies and french fries.

I'd have to say Subway; as far as the sub chains go, I think both DeAngelo's and Quiznos are better.

When it comes down to it, though, I'd rather go to one of the local sub/pizza places.

Quiznos, definitely, and Burger King. Ew.

Taco Bell.

Subway is pretty crappy.

Ditto on Taco Bell, McDonalds and Subway.

Jack In The Box got old quick, probably because of the one near campus. Although their Ciabatta Burger is pretty bomb.

I don't think you get what you pay for at Pita Pit. They don't make them as big as they used to, the gyros anyway.

The only things edible at McDonald's are the breakfasts and the yogurt. Quiznos is HIGHLY overrated, and I've never cared for Subway. Actually, there's very few fast food places I'll willingly consider.

Thank God I'm not the only one who thinks that Quizno's is overrated.

Ain't no one better be knocking my Taco Bell! I LOVE that place. Dirt cheap, fast food, good when hungover-what else do you need??

I love Taco Bell. Too bad that the Taco Bell stand closed down at my school a couple of years ago.

The Olive Garden ~ it's not even real Italian Food.

I'd say all of them, but especially McDonald's, Quizno's (I've never eaten ANYthing from there that didn't make me throw up), and Burger King.

McDonald's. It's cardboard food. You could probably eat the box and not know the difference.

LOL I like Subway, Taco Bell and Quiznos (aside from that horrible talking baby). They're all vegetarian friendly for fast food.

I haven't touched McDonald's in years.

Ditto...I hate that so many people thing Olive Garden is good dining. Go to an authentic Italian place and see the diff, people.

As far as fast food goes? Mc Donalds...nasty. Subway too.

Pizza Hut.

Subway has gone downhill since they introduced the ookabillion (tm OTW) different kinds of bread.

And not fast food, but if I hear one more person rave about Bravo Italian Kitchen, I will scream. At least at Olive Garden you have that kickass salad & breadsticks, but Bravo is just feh, and very overpriced. Especially around here where we have a whole little Italy where you can probably eat 6 good, authentic meals for the price of one Bravo meal.

I hate Arby's and Burger King - And now that Burger King character gives me nightmares.

I have got to agree with Quizno's. So overpriced and usually makes me sick. But I love Subway, especially their sub of the day special here. For under $3 to have lunch is great.

It's only a Nebraska thing, but Amigos, is entirely overrated. They have only about 30 locations, and I think they are only in Nebraska now (the only location I ever saw outside of Nebraska was in Lawrence KS, and it closed a couple of years back).

Anyways, and I have to say that I used to perpetuate this, the only people who really think it is good are drunk freshmen. They have a location that stays open to like 3am on Thursday, 4am on Friday and 3am on Saturday that is probably only 150 yards from the back door of my fraternity house (and between the bars and campus) so people hit them up on the weekends all the time. Granted on occasion, I'll hit a drunk state where it sounds good and occassionally when I haven't had enough grease in my diet, I'll go there, but ughh...you feel it the next day.

As for more national chains...McDonald's is pretty overrated.

And Tristan: Don't talk smack about my Pita Pit...

Again, tastes good, you just don't get what you pay for.

My name is Beanblossom and I like Quizno's. Now, their commercial with the dancing peppers (or whatever they were) drove me insane last year.

Not sure about the over-rated ones......but when I travel to the West Coast, I love In & Out Burger - yummy. ;)

Most fast-food restaurants are overrated... McDonald's and Burger King especially so. Wendy's is acceptable. Quizno's and Subway are ok, but you don't get enough food considering what you pay.

And, although it's not fast food, I'll agree that The Olive Garden is overrated. It's a poor imitation of Italian food, at best.

We disagree on this. Great burgers, great chili, great lemonade, and founded in Atlanta too.

Not being Italian, and not being able to eat tomatoes (much, anyhow), I don't mind the Olive Garden - I like their Chicken Giardano (chicken & pasta in a lemon-herb sauce).

I think, especially when we're in a hurry or traveling, we still tend to go to "the devil we know".

Wendy's. The food is just so bland.

Quiznos.

Last month, I finally went to see what all the talk was about regarding this toasted sandwich.... I also had lots of coupons.

When I finished my sandwich, I looked up and saw a roach crawling across the counter.

Of course, I haven't been back.:o

I like it too.

I forgot about Olive Garden, although I wouldn't consider them fast food.

Gotta say that I love Steak & Shake's fries, so yummy. But other than that overrated.

Ew, Steak & Shake...yeah, I forgot about them. My friends and I went there the other night after we left the bar, and they all griped at me for not ordering anything but that crap did not look good even in my inebriated state. And it's pretty expensive for what it is.
