Lol...i think i'm going to like this season too, they have some really good singers too!!

I don't know if it is just me, but Aubrey looks OVERLY tanned. But this show is gonna be great.

So what do you all think of the new band?

My favorite was always Wanita and Dominique...so i'm glad to see at least one of them in the group, but other than that...BOO!! to diddy

Its not that I didn't like them....they just weren't my favorite.

If I had to choose between the two of them, I'd go with Aundrea, she's more like me. I knew Aubrey was gonna get in, that was an obvious choice.....i still think her and Diddy had something going on between them.


But like someone said in the other thread about MTB....he chose these girls based on their dancing, not their singing. If he had based it on singing, there would be no way he could justify not picking Dominique.

I DO NOT LIKE SHANNON!!!!! There was nothing speacial about her....she needs to be cut! lol

I made my fiance watch the finale with me and, except for Wanita, I nailed every girl Diddy picked in order. My fiance was like, "why are you wathcing if you knew what was going to happen?" hehe

I didn't like Dominique. She has a good voice, but she couldn't stick with the dancing to save her life. I don't think he picked the band just on dancing, because all the girls are strong singers but, if he wanted a complete package, it was obvious he wouldn't pick Dominique.

The one person I liked that didn't make the band was Jasmine. But, after her vocal/no harmony interview, I knew she wasn't going to cut it. I don't really have an opinion of Wanita because they rarely showed her.

I loved Dominique and was sad that she didn't get picked. But I have a feeling that she will get signed by Andre Harrell because he was her biggest fan. I am sooooooooooooo happy that he did not pick Denosh. She got on my nerves.

i just saw the re-run this am... i was so glad that aubrey and aundrea got in. i would have liked to have seen taquita make it. i just loved her!

Aubrey was a guarantee. For some reason I got the feeling that she was Diddy's secret favorite. I like her better with straight hair. None of this foofy shit, and she needs to get rid of that fake tan.

I was surprised Aundrea made it. I thought that Melissa would get picked for sure. I like Aundrea, but IMO she wasn't as strong as Melissa.

Not surprised Dominique did not make the band. Sure she can sing...but she was the token 'chunky girl' and she could not dance. Those faces she'd make while dancing were her nails on the coffin. But that girl can sing, so she'll definitely get picked up by somebody.

I knew Shannon would make the band way back from that episode where she and Kaui were dancing in front of Diddy and Diddy made that "since when do white girls dance like that?" comment. She was one of those who just chilled in the background, but when she was called up, she stepped up.

Overall, good picks. Good job, Diddy.

Random thought....what ever happened to Diddy's girl group Dream? If we wanted a girl group, he could have worked with the one he had.

Eh, they were too "pop girly". Bubble gum pop comes to mind -- and I think when they debuted, bubble gum pop was pretty much fizzing out. Plus they were all under the age of 18 at that time.

Granted, they had one good song, well two...but only one really picked up at mainstream. They were mediocre. I don't really see them at the same level with the girls from MTB3.

It's really :( when people have to resort to saying that "Diddy only chose the girls he wants to bone" just because you favorite girl didn't get picked. I think it's also unfair to call Diddy and his girls "whitewash".

Oh, and Laurie Ann....there are starving kids in Ethiopia. If you share some food with them next time, maybe you won't have so much of a gut.

Is this Making The Band III - season 32?!?

It's easy to get reality seasons mixed up when there are lots of them...especially like the Real World and Road Rules.

But this is technically only the 4th season (O-Town, Da Band, and then last season) -- making this Making the Band 3 Part 2.

but its the 5th season of Making the Band:

O-Town had 1 season
Da Band has 2 seasons
MTB3 Part 1
and now MTB3 Part 2

I thought she looked pregnant.....I kept trying to see how she looked every time she was on camera, but couldn't tell for sure.

O-Town actually had two season, too.
(The first with the Hawaiian kid that left, and then with Dan)
So, it's really the sixth season all together.

Ahhh, my Ikaika. He's still modeling, but he's in medical school just like his older brother.

And what exactly is a BOOM KACK? Laurie Ann was just uber annoying this season.

Oh really? I thought that was all the 1st season, but now that I think about it....wasn't it the 2nd season where they moved into their "house?" So yeah...ur right, its the 6th season :D

Don't know if you guys saw the commercial, but last night before Miss Seventeen and The Gauntlet 2, they brought Ashley Parker Angel (aka the blond guy from O-Town) back.

Apparently starting some time next month he'll be starring in his own reality show. It's supposed to chronicle his attempt to make it big (again), this time as a solo artist and husband and father.

He definitely has a new look -- gone is the boy band haircut and clean shaven face. He definitely looks more rugged and scruffy now...and the song he was playing on his guitar was definitely not O-Town-ish.

I think they're making their album and probably taping another season of the show following them. I'm sure we'll hear about them sometime this summer. Puffy, excuse me, PDiddy, not dumb enough to keep them away for too long and have people totally forget about them.

I did that two seconds after the "band" was revealed. :o :D

the show starts back up next month. the previews came on when i was watching the real world/road rules challenge.

They were in a music video for a song that they practiced to constantly. the one that went, "can i get another chance to hold you tonight". I don't think all of them were in it though. The artists name was something like Cheri or Sheri Dennis. They should have put her song out during MTB3 -2 when people were hearing it every single week. DUH! I'm mad Taquita didn't get in and Dawn did. Dawn and Wanita and Shannon didn't stand out at all and they barely got camera time yet they still made it?

I also am wondering about Shannon. Is she the same as the Shannon Bex, the girl who was 2nd runner up on Johnny Wright's FAME tv series on (i think) CBS, if so then that explains why she made it, if not, my bad.
