I quit my job today!! I gave them two weeks but I'm not sure if they will have me stick around that long. I guess I'll find out on Monday.

GULP...I am about to go in and give notice tomorrow.

I was offered a FABULOUS opportunity at the Des Moines Register...you know the kind you need to have your head examined if you turn it down.

Now I have to go break the heart of the guys I work with tomorrow. The job I have is BORING...the pay is ok, but the people (with only a couple exceptions) are WONDERFUL!!!!

(sigh)...

I quit the airline a few weeks ago and I'm loving this vacation.

I've had interviews already, but none of the companies really interested me after the interview.

I love it when I find out there's a south shore swell in the morning and I can just grab my board and go...and not get pissed off that I have to go to work.

Add me to the unemployed list!

I have at interview at Mercedes tomorrow at 1:00pm. We'll see how that goes. :)

I was so excited to quit my hellish nightmare kind of job recently as well. Last Friday was my last day. And I absolutely love my new job, so good riddance to the old bad jobs I say ;).

It sucks that they let you go early. A lot of companies do that nowadays.

No, I didn't have anything else lined up. I just got fed up with all the bullshit that goes on within the company. I have a TON of connections because of the area I worked in so I'll probably have a job by tomorrow afternoon, lol.

I quit my job at the end of August..I was getting really burned out and needed a break. I didn't have anything lined up, because in nursing, it's easy to get another job when you want one. I've really enjoyed being a unemployed sponge-took 2 vacations, worked out every day, shopped occasionally-however, I'm getting the distinct feeling from the husband that my free ride has just ended...

but they still have to pay you until 10/14, right???

I quit, I dont eat. But thats pretty much the same with anybody....

If I had enough $ saved up, I'd quit my job. It's so hard to find a job in my city, though, and I'm stuck here til I go to grad school next year...
