I just read the story on yahoo and I am sooooo not surprised! I feel bad, but I have to honest- I saw it coming from the very beginning.

one of the radio djs here said, she could totally see paris h. agreeing to marry him because he had the same name! lol. i also heard this weekend that her parents didn't like him and felt that he had questionable morals. i found that interesting because they didn't have anything to say about their daughter's questionable morals....

There was also talk a while back that his parents weren't thrilled with her either. Realistically it's not like a 22 year old billionaire (or otherwise) should be getting married anyhow.

news has it that paris has moved on and is now with mary-kate's ex-boyfriend who is also an heir to a big company. i heard it on the radio this morning.

My question is why do these stars have to be engaged or nothing at all...she said she still liked the guy, but didn't want to be married this young. Why can't they then just be mature adults and continue to date w/o a 24k involved? Hollywood, I tell ya....

Because right now getting married young is the Hollywood "thing." They get magazine covers for it and more press, which wouldn't happen if they were just dating or even just living together.

I think Elizabeth Taylor is probably sitting there saying "y'all are effing stupid." She's said before that if the times had been different, she would have not married as many times as she did.
