Yeah, this one definately didn't surprise me. I just don't understand WHY people feel like they need to get married so quickly. :confused:

It's all about the publicity.

Is it bad that this one kinda made me smile? Cause I love him, and she kinda bugs me. ;)

I remember when I heard that they were engaged and thinking.... Riiiight. :rolleyes:

I hate to be so cynical about celebrity marriages.... But the odds really seem to be against them. :confused:

It's going to make the set such a pleasant work environment while divorce proceedings are happening. :rolleyes:

When I read it yesterday my first thoughts were "why am I not surprised".


Is it me or does it seem that a lot of celebrities really "give up" too easily when it comes to marriage? They have these huge, elaborate and not to mention expensive weddings and yet the marriages usually don't last over a year, tops 2. It's almost like they "expect" that marriage will be "easier" for them because their "famous" and "loaded". To me that would actually make a marriage harder.

I don't even think they dated for more than a year. I think it was more like 5-8 months.

I love that about a month or so ago when the rumors of them splitting going around they came out against them and then said they were talking to Nick and Jessica to find out how they deal with all the rumors and ignore them, etc. I can't help but laugh.

I have a friend who knows Chad, and she said he was ALWAYS cheating on Sophia...

Not terribly surprising.

Chad Michael Murray is engaged to One Tree Hill crew member Kenzie Dalton, 18, PEOPLE has learned exclusively from a source close to the couple.

No other details were immediately available.

Murray, 24, was previously married to Sophia Bush, a co-star on One Tree Hill. The pair split last September after five months of marriage.

I saw Kenzie's photo in OK! (or some other tabloid mag I bought to read in the plane).

I know that looks aren't everything, but when you compare the present girl to the ex, she doesn't come anywhere close to Sophia, IMO.

She was the 2nd place Miss NC, and she's cute to me. I think she just has a different look than Sophia. Like Sophia can be the sexy woman, and Kenzie is more of a really pretty girl next door type look...

That doesn't even look like the pics I've seen of her. If you find a pic where she's around 12, she'll probably look like it...

She is only 18 or 19 though, so she's not going to look 23 like Sophia...
