I keep thinking that one day The Donald will actually smile for the camera!

It seems like the contestants this year are much more qualified than contestants in past years. My memory could be wrong though.

I still like Danny Kastner (last season) and Raj (season 2). I hope they bring those seasons to DVD like they did with the first one.

They exaggerate their bios so much, it's ridiculous.

Tonight's ending actually surprised me. It was hilarious at the end when they were all squeezed into the backseat of the cab and didn't say a word for the camera.

Tonight's episode was the best Apprentice I have seen in a long time! Still cannot get over the ending. Finally, I think the Donald is back and hopefully the show will get better from here.

I was so shocked at the ending! The cab ride had me cracking up!

I'm really, really hooked on this season. The expressions on their faces in the cab were priceless. :D

I really like Randall and Marshawn. Alla is kind of growing on me too. I like Rebecca for some reason.

It sure was! I can't believed he canned four of them in one fell swoop....ha ha ha ha!!!

Me too, and not just because she looks like Sandra Bullock.

I really didn't see the end coming, although when James said something along the lines of "We're going to hit this one out of the park," I thought I heard the irony gods snicker, and when Mark said "I'm worried," and Josh said "You've got nothing to worry about; I'm not bringing you in," I was sure that the snickering turned to gut-splitting laughter.

Mark was the one of the 4 who shouldn't have been fired, IMHO. Granted, he did nothing but feed the pitching machine, but that was the team's gig, and someone had to feed it. Sure, it didn't utilize his skills, but what was he supposed to do, abandon his post? The fault there lies with Josh who should have realized there was a problem and adjusted, say by moving Jen to the pitching machine and moving James onto the sales floor.

The cab ride was hysterical.

I completely agree. Sometimes The Donald is a bit inconsistent in his logic.

That, and I liked Mark. I think now my current favorite is Randall.

Right before he fired all 4 of them, when he brought them all in, I told my mom he might fire them all. I just said it as a joke never thinking it would happen, but it did. I can't believe it!! I too agree that the cab ride was soooo funny!! I guess they were still in shock and had nothing to say.

After all of that bickering and backstabbing and defending themselves in the boardroom they all got fired. I would have been TICKED ---> because c'mon - he KNEW he was going to fire them all before they walked back in there. :rolleyes:

I'm enjoying this season. I did have to laugh several weeks ago when the girl who was fired (don't remember her name) complained that her team was against her because they were all intimidated by her.

Intimidated by her hotness, I'm sure.:rolleyes:

Do you wonder where that cab is headed?

I've heard that the cab goes around a block. Supposedly, the fired contestants stay in the Trump Towers but on another floor.

Also, the potential Apprentices' apartment is on the same floor as the boardroom. After they leave the boardroom to return to their apartment, they all step inside the elevator. It's just for show.

Who was shocked that all FOUR were fired last week? Raise your hand!

Can you imagine what is going to happen when the teammates realize NO ONE is coming back from the boardroom???

I just got a mental image of the rest of the team just sitting there watching the door. And watching.....and watching.....and watching....

Martha would have sent a note to the apartment. It's just good manners. :)

Two thoughts about this episode.
1) I'd like to be the one to corupt Adam. No, I'm not sure why.
2) How can I get Alla to adopt me?

Do you think Martha would have point blank at the bd. room table asked "Are you gay?"

Or "Have you ever had sex before?"

I'm surprised at how personal Donald got with these contestants. I realize that it's for ratings but I could never imagine a CEO at a major corporation asking an employee if they're gay or if they've ever had sex. Huge liability and HR issue right there.

To be honest, the guy that he fired was a disaster, but he wasn't the main reason the task failed. I think after asking that guy about his sexual orientation (for ratings), he & producers needed a scapegoat. The other guy could've said they asked him his SO on national TV, then fired him.

Frankly, Marcus is the reason they lost. Why? Because he he did absolutely nothing for the team, even when given plenty of chances. He was nothing but dead weight, and that sinks ships.

Plus the fact that the GUY COULDN'T TALK!!!!!!!! You'd have to listen through 10 minutes of stuttering around the topic to figure out what the hell he was talking about.



I'm looking forward to tomorrow and the Star Wars deal.



How much you wanna bet that there is at least one person who KNOWS NOTHING about Star Wars? LOL.

(The Star Wars thing makes me really, really, really wish I had taken the day off from work back in April and gone to the interview ASU set up for the alums. Damn!)

I was soooo looking forward to this episode also. The commercials alone cracked me up. (The one on the nbc website was even funnier!!!) How stupid is it that the NYC guy thought he get to the appointment in 15 minutes!!! I have been there 3 times in my life, and even I know that isn't possible.

The team that won I thought did a GREAT job with their presentation. How do you leave out "Darth Vader" from your presentation (like the one team did...)? He is the whole reason behind the movie!! What made it worse is the losing team had the Star Wars fanatic. He should have realized how important Vader is to the series!



Now to vent.....Who is thinking that this show is now getting more and more commercialized. Trump is taking every advantage to promote his businesses, not to mention those businesses that are working in the challenge. Too commercialized. It is wearing thin on me? Plus, I prefer George to Bill. BRING HIM BACK!!!

Anyone notice that every cab in every season has a "Yahoo jobs" ad on top of it?

not every cab...there's been a random one or two without.

I don't mind commercializing so much, heck, it's the point of the show to work for a commercial organization. However, some of these tasks are repeating way too much. How many tasks can you have with best buy!? Get some new and original sponsors for tasks.

I am soooo bummed because I missed the episode!!!!

I completely forgot because Thursday was my last day of work (for the week, no school on Friday) so I was kind of in this "It's Friday, nothing's on TV" mentality. I completely forgot that Alias was on until 40 minutes into it. And then I started watching CSI and halfway through I realized The Apprentice was on. I was like "damn it".

But seriously...

I think "The Apprentice: Donald" is one of the shows that someone types the summary as the show is happening. Very detailed summaries.....

Wow. I guess Donald had to do some interesting and creative things this season since the last season was so crappy. I had a feeling since the beginning that Randall would be one of the final 2 and started predicting a few weeks back that Rebecca would be too. I just didn't think it would happen the way it did.

Honestly, I would be TOTALLY shocked if Randall doesn't win this competition. He has been a force to reckon with since the beginning. I think if he hadn't pulled her aside during tonight's episode....their commercial would not have worked. (But that could be just because of creative editing!)

So, next week is the task, then we have the following week's show of clips and the last firing. This show is in need of an overhaul or just to stop....I don't think that moving it to LA will solve this rut.

I am so glad he got rid of Allah. After the crap she was saying throughout tonight's episode...ick.

I think the surprise is Donald hires them both.

I agree. I think Rebecca has a good head on her shoulders but I don't think she is as business savvy as Randall.

I definately think Randall will win.




Question: Is it me or does it seem like Bill is the most successful apprentice? We see him almost every week taking over for George. Obviously Trump thinks pretty damn highly of him to do that.

I told my mom the exact same thing after they said there is going to be one more surprise. I personally like them both, I can see both of them doing a good job on their tasks.

When the girls were arguing in the board room, I looked at the tv and said, "Hell, fire 'em both!!"

Who's watching the finale? I hope Randall wins, but I won't be terribly disappointed if Rebecca wins. Both are very strong and they have very bright futures.
