I guess the coolest president in the 20th century is a toss up between FDR, Kennedy and P.I.M.P. Mack Daddy Clinton. Although I was not alive during FDR and Kennedy's administrations and I've heard they have jacked up a lot of stuff, they did make great strides for Americans.

However, I think as crazy as it sounds, Reagan did some chit too. Most folks on the street don't like him. But when you make him like Max Headroom and robotize him, he's pretty funny. I mean, you'd never EVER are gonna get SNL comedy skits like that since the Reagan years... Like "Just Say No..." And "Friends don't let friend drive drunk..." Or the "Star Wars" plan--whatever happened to that??? And the irony with Mikail Gorbechev's visit to New York in 1986... That was hilarious...

I mean George Schultz was pretty hardcore back in the day... Ain't nobody woulda EFF'ed with him... Where are they now?

But P.I.M.P. Mack Daddy Clinton will always have a way with the ladies... Interesting how Bush the Father likes him so much with their bushclintonkatrinafund.org goin' on...

Agreed. WHen he did that I was like "Oh no he didn't." But hey. Whatever works. Although I'm not a republican, as far as 1st ladies go, I'm tied between Nancy Reagan & Hilary Clinton. Nancy just had/ has so much poise and tact.

During the Presidential election, even though I voted for Kerry (I didn't like either of them, but thought he was the lesser of the 2 evils) I thought Mrs. Kerry was scary. :eek: Then came the reports that she was married to another politician (I forget who) that died in a plane crash. Just strange.

Wasn't he a super-conservative too? I remember hearing something like that and thinking it was a little bit strange that she would go from him to Kerry.

I don't find Mrs. Bush "elegant" per se, but still very impressive in a quiet way. She has a great presence.

If elegant is the measure, I would have to go with Nancy Regan or Jacqueline Kennedy.
